Quality of the commodity distribution network as a characteristic of a trading enterprise

The general characteristic of the trading enterprise is based on the fact that since the main condition for the sale of products, especially characterized by a continuous production process or a significant seasonality factor, is the stability of sampling, then the subjects of the commodity distribution network (hereinafter TPN) must adhere to the established volumes of rhythmicity in the sampling of quotas. The parent company, in the first place, is interested in a steady flow of current assets, the accumulation of large inventories in the period of falling demand can lead to a significant shortage of working capital. If there is a shortage of products in a season, TPN, as a characteristic of a trading enterprise, should form a strategic stock, and during the seasonal decline, regulate its own marketing policy tools .

In order to avoid negative competition, both between the competing organizations and between the subjects of its own TPN, the price level determined by the parent enterprise and applied by the TPN entities should be the same. Otherwise, there may be a situation where different entities of the distribution network in one region can sell products at different prices, which will cause consumers' discontent, possible violations of the zone of primary responsibility and adequate countermeasures of competitors. In particular, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the pricing policy when the enterprise declares the thesis that the subjects of its own TPN realize at producer prices. The characteristics of the trading enterprise should also take into account that the successful conduct of economic activities, due to the specificity of the products and the structure of local consumption, may be due to the presence of trade and storage areas in the TPN subject, as well as special equipment and means. The complex organizational and economic characteristics of a trading enterprise are based on the assertion that the presence of a developed infrastructure in a TPN entity allows to form many competitive advantages:

1) formation of the optimal assortment for the whole range of products, due to which potential and real consumers will be able to carry out complex purchases;

2) the possibility of implementing an assortment of similar products of other firms and companies;

3) the possibility of creating a strategic stock of finished products in anticipation of the period of active seasonal demand;

4) provision of operational planning for production activities;

5) availability of delivery of products to the address of the consumer on the basis of DDU;

6) creation of conditions and opportunities not only for wholesale, but also for retail trade, formation of a favorable image of the subject of TPN and the parent enterprise;

7) the characteristic of the enterprise of trade provides for the implementation of strategic investments in real estate, forming the long-term competitiveness of the enterprise.

When forming domestic selling prices or for TPN entities operating in a certain territory, the pricing principles in force in the region are compulsorily applied by the directives of the relevant ministries and departments. If the subject of TPN is abroad, the policy of its pricing should not violate the law of the country. Characteristics of the trade enterprise provides that the main principle in the organization of TPN is the regional division of the functioning of the TPN subjects. In practice, a term is used such as a zone of primary responsibility, which means a geographical or administrative region within which a TPN entity can carry out its activities.
