Historical reference

This work began its work in October in the distant 1925, when an initial presentation took place near the local university. First, the Voronezh State Puppet Theater "Shut" was a collection of lovers, true admirers of art. However, in November 1930, this place became one of the parts of the department of public education of the region, it was attached to the Young Theater.

Young activists formed a troupe at a university organization, they developed a repertoire of speeches. At the same time N. Bezzubtseva, the head of this place, was arrested on "academic business". Since 1934 the leader was B. Nikolsky.

Independence

Voronezh Puppet Theater "Shut" celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 1975. Then there was the idea to give the organization its own building, where it could exist autonomously. Although in reality the puppet theater "Shut" moved to its own building only in 1984.

The architects were N. Topoev, as well as A. Frolov. For the implementation of this project they were awarded a special national award. V. Anishchev made one of the most significant investors, although at the most the whole city actively worked to ensure that the puppet theater "Shut" (Voronezh) functioned in full force.

Flowering

Another remarkable feature of this place is a monument dedicated to a dog named White Bim Black Ear. It was installed in 1998 on the square near the building. The authors of the statue were E. Pak and I. Dikunov.

The hero of the book is embodied in its natural size, the pedestal is not provided. You can see that the dog has a sad and devoted look. This sculpture touched a lot of hearts. The material for the execution of the monument was stainless steel. Of bronze, they made an ear and a paw.

A remarkable image of the authorship of G. Troepolsky became a kind of symbol of the theatrical institution adjacent to him. During the creation of the sculpture, the authors consulted the writer, consulted with him so that the monument came out as close to the initial plan and embodied its best features. However, the creator passed away a little earlier than the moment of the discovery of the statue.
