First, the Voronezh State Puppet Theater "Shut" was a collection of lovers, true admirers of art. However, in November 1930, this place became one of the parts of the department of public education of the region, it was attached to the Young Theater.

Young activists formed a troupe at a university organization, they developed a repertoire of speeches. At the same time N. Bezzubtseva, the head of this place, was arrested on "academic business". Since 1934 the leader was B. Nikolsky.

Performances took place within the walls of a dramatic institution. The team of actors was 5 women and 2 men. Here you could introduce children to the stories of such wonderful world-famous works as "Little Red Riding Hood" or "Cat in Boots".

Independence

Voronezh Puppet Theater "Shut" celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 1975. Then there was the idea to give the organization its own building, where it could exist autonomously. Although in reality the puppet theater "Shut" moved to its own building only in 1984.

The architects were N. Topoev, as well as A. Frolov. For the implementation of this project they were awarded a special national award. V. Anishchev made one of the most significant investors, although at the most the whole city actively worked to ensure that the puppet theater "Shut" (Voronezh) functioned in full force.

Flowering

At the end of the last century, VA Volkhovsky took over the leadership. It was played here "The trial of Joan of Arc" of Bresson's authorship, as well as "The Mischievous Boy" by P. Vezhinov. The performances were met with delight, this was a fresh trend in the life of art. Here you can also look at the "Dead Souls" or "The Overcoat", the productions of "Xie Man" and "Arturo Ui's Career".

Also, the puppet theater "Shut" became widely known in the framework of numerous serious international festivals. It was possible to show the skills of the local troupe abroad, in particular in Bulgaria, where the prize "Golden Dolphin" was won. In 2009, the puppet theater "Shut" received the name of one of its leaders - Volhovsky.

Impression

Many Voronezh call this place their favorite theater. In fact, not only children get pleasure here, but also a large number of adults. The concept of performances can be called touching and philosophical. It has to rethink many of life's attitudes, the appearance of new views among people.

In addition, the actors play just fine, so that the deep meaning of the ideas becomes more accessible, and subtle emotions and feelings reach the hearts of the audience.

Speakers are dressed in such suits, which make them very similar to dolls. Thanks to the long and hard work of this place learned in many countries abroad. It's nice to see not only the stage, but the whole building, the interior, every room because of their unique beauty, grace and well-groomed. It's interesting to visit a wonderful museum of dolls full of wonderful exhibits, which in the past were used during performances and productions. A touching monument

Many people justifiably believe that the best way to spend your free time is to visit the puppet show "The Jester", whose address is: Voronezh, Revolution Avenue, 50.

Another remarkable feature of this place is a monument dedicated to a dog named White Bim Black Ear. It was installed in 1998 on the square near the building. The authors of the statue were E. Pak and I. Dikunov.

The hero of the book is embodied in its natural size, the pedestal is not provided. You can see that the dog has a sad and devoted look. This sculpture touched a lot of hearts. The material for the execution of the monument was stainless steel. Of bronze, they made an ear and a paw.

A remarkable image of the authorship of G. Troepolsky became a kind of symbol of the theatrical institution adjacent to him. During the creation of the sculpture, the authors consulted the writer, consulted with him so that the monument came out as close to the initial plan and embodied its best features. However, the creator passed away a little earlier than the moment of the discovery of the statue.
