Potassium sulphate is a fertilizer for plants that do not tolerate chlorine
Among the most widely used and widely used as mineral fertilizers are potassium sulfate, which belongs to the most frequently used elements, such as phosphorus, nitrogen. It can not be found in the plant as an organic compound, at the same time it is detected in the form of salt (ions) both in the composition of the juice and in the cells. It is also present in the cytoplasm.
Potassium sulphate (fertilizer), favor the good development of plants, their nutrition, strengthens the vascular walls, through which useful substances enter the roots and stems. In combination with phosphates, it stimulates the growth and development of flowers on fruit plants. Young shoots and other newly emerged parts of any plant are always richer in potassium content than old ones. During intensive growth and development of garden culture there is a change in the composition of mineral substances in certain areas. As young shoots need accelerated growth and adequate quality nutrition, they show the greatest concentration of potassium.
If the soil is clayey, it should be taken into account that the potassium fertilizer is not able to penetrate into the depth in this case, as it "encounters" an obstacle. At the same time, potassium sulfate is very soluble in water, therefore, in the absence of this problem, the root system is fully digestible. The most commonly used fertilizer is ashes. It includes substances such as phosphorus and potassium, magnesium and calcium, as well as additional trace elements: boron, copper and iron. The only exception is nitrogen, which is not found in this fertilizer. Often gardeners will neutralize the soil with such a compound if the following crops grow in it: potatoes and other root crops, currants, cabbage. Ash is used at any time of the year. Usually the sandy soil is surrendered in the spring period, and clayey soil in autumn. Ash should not mix with ammonium sulfate, manure fertilizers. It is stored in a dry place, like potassium sulphate, in order to avoid quality deterioration.
If the garden crops begin to dry out from the tips of the leaves, get a brown color, then this indicates a lack of such a substance as potassium sulfate (potassium sulfate). It must necessarily be part of the plant in sufficient quantities. Its absence or lack leads to the fact that the leaves begin to be painted in various shades of brown, dry out and look burned.
