Poetry Tyutchev FI: analysis "Mind does not understand Russia"

Russia, the Russian soul, the Russian spirit ... These seemingly simple words cause unrestrained disputes and reflections with an indispensable ellipsis at the end. In this uneasy bunch there is one of the most famous poems: "I can not understand Russia with my mind" (by Tyutchev FI). What is its peculiarity?

On a scrap of paper

In the work "Mind does not understand Russia" (Tyutchev F.) a lot of curious features. First published in 1968, it was written by a poet on a scrap of paper in 1966. Today this truly priceless fragment is kept in the Pushkin House. The work itself consists of only four lines, one stanza, but what! You read and involuntarily there is an association with a kind of a small deep lake, in which the water is so transparent that it seems that this is the bottom, a stone's throw away, but no, it's bottomless, and it's done sadly, sublime and joyful at the same time.

What is Russia?

The poem "I can not understand Russia with my mind" (Tiutchev F.) is a philosophical miniature on a patriotic theme. By the way, this is not the only philosophical miniature-monostrophe in the work of the Russian poet ("Nature Sphinx", "We are not allowed to foresee"). The work is also written in the size for the creativity of Fedor Tyutchev - four-legged iambic, which gives the work a sublime, solemnly-odic sound. However, along with the exaltation of the fatherland, other notes are heard - the broad Russian soul, the Russian land, love for it is impossible to know, to understand, to measure, here work other laws - unconditionedness, boundlessness, infinity - that can only be passed through and felt. Is everyone given this? Probably not, but those who are endowed with this gift, open up other horizons - faith and love. F. Tyutchev believes that the Russian people as a whole are awarded this amazing quality, and this causes and should cause only pride.

Analysis: "I can not understand Russia with my mind", Tyutchev F.I.

Poetic work, a poetic text is a multifaceted phenomenon that attracted and continues to attract the attention of literary critics, linguists and philosophers. The famous poem by F. Tyutchev was no exception. In the scientific work of Golysheva GE Compositional analysis "The mind does not understand Russia" suggests dividing the monostrophe into characteristic for reasoning three main parts: thesis, argument and conclusion.

The first two lines are just the thesis proposed by the author: one can not deny the obvious that Russia has a special character, a special character and a soul, and therefore a special way. In the third line, we read the explanation and the proof of this: "She has a special become." By the way, the word "become" in this context can be viewed in two ways. The first, as portable - "internal warehouse, internal structure." The second - in contrast to the stable expression "to match" - "fully correspond to someone or something." Otherwise - the device of the Russian soul as it is unreal to give any definition, so it is impossible to compare it with anyone and with nothing, parallels simply do not exist.

Which of these is the "conclusion"? About him we can find out in the fourth line: "In Russia you can only BELIEVE." In other words, at the heart of everything and everything is only faith that lives in one heart only, and it will not work out or learn it - it either is, or it is not. This line is a parting word for both the Russian man and the stranger. For the latter, faith is the only way to understand everything connected with the word "Russian", and hence the only possible way of rapprochement and friendship. For a Russian person, it is a kind of reminder that in faith only our strength and steadfastness. She is the only assistant and savior of Russia from all troubles, and her loss is the immediate destruction of the whole country. No faith - no people.

Ways to implement the author's idea

Linguistic analysis "Mind does not understand Russia" gives an understanding of how, how the author's idea is realized, what language units contribute to that. According to Golysheva GE, to convey the deeper meaning of the work, which was mentioned above, the poet uses the verbs "believe", "measure" and "understand." It is they that influence the formation of the "inner movement of the image," and the repetition of the negative particle "not" intensifies the contrasting opposition of concepts such as "mind," "reason," and "soul," "faith," "unconditional".

We continue the analysis "I can not understand Russia with my mind" - the amazing work of Tyutchev F.I. At the syntactic level, special attention deserves an amazing author's punctuation, in particular a dash and the absence of a dot at the very end of the quatrains, which are not always preserved when the text is reprinted. So, in the first line, the author initially put a dash: "Mind - Russia does not understand". For what? First of all, for a pause, which during the reading of the text would seem to last only a fraction of a second, but in the most powerful way accentuates the words "mind" and "Russia" and thus raises them on different sides. For this effect, the author used both a dash in the second line, and a comma in the third stanza after "At her".

Conclusion

And in conclusion everything about her, about Mother Russia, that "Russia can not understand with the mind" ... Verse continues to be one of the most frequently cited works of F. Tyutchev. Why? It can be said that it carries in itself an eternal prophecy, reminding Russia, to the Russian people about its unchanging deep essence, and at the same time all the same negative particles "not" and the word "only" warn both Russian people and other peoples about Inevitable catastrophe, if the attitude is different ...
