As an expectorant, wheatgrass is very effective in bronchitis. It is also a tonic and increases blood pressure. The decoction of the plant is good for stomach disorders and diarrhea. Outwardly it is recommended to use it for eczema, diathesis, neurodermatitis and other skin diseases. Infusions of wheatgrass are effective in diseases of the musculoskeletal system: osteochondrosis, polyarthritis, rheumatism. With pulmonary tuberculosis (in addition to the main therapy), a good effect is the ingestion of the broth of rhizomes of the plant on milk. Juice of stems is used to restore vision. When rickets in children they are bathed in a bath with a decoction of wheat grass. Preparations based on it are recommended for women with various disorders of ovarian function.

Application Features

Special contraindications to the use of drugs and infusions of wheatgrass creeping is not available. But when taking large doses, a depressed condition may develop, work capacity decrease, diarrhea may begin. In these cases, the use of decoctions and medicines based on the plant should be discontinued. Prolonged and uncontrolled reception of wild boar infusions can adversely affect the kidneys.
