The drug "Pimafukort", instruction for use notes, is available in two forms - cream and ointment.

One gram of the drug contains ten milligrams of natamycin, three and a half milligrams of neomycin sulfate and ten milligrams of micronized hydrocortisone. Additional constituents are represented by a special emulsifier F, decyloleate, sodium citrate, sorbitan stearate, cetyl wax ester, macrogol stearate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate and purified water. It goes on sale in fifteen-gram tubes of aluminum or plastic.

In the composition of the ointment there is a similar number of active active ingredients. It differs only in auxiliary substances, which are polyethylene (five percent) and liquid paraffin (ninety-five percent). The packaging is the same.

Active active ingredient - neomycin sulfate - is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. He shows maximum activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.

Thanks to the micronized hydrocortisone, the feeling of burning and itching, as well as inflammation in dermatosis, is eliminated.

This indicator is increased when applying medication to wounds and ulcers (2-6%). It is necessary to take into account the fact that the adsorption of the medicament in question is much higher in the skin of the children than in the affected areas of adults.

This drug is indicated in mycosis, otomycosis, pyoderma, as well as in superficial dermatoses infected with bacteria or fungi that are highly sensitive to the active components of the drug.

This form of the drug is used to eliminate acute or subacute dermatosis. The cream should be applied to the affected areas up to four times a day.

The preparation in the form of an ointment is indicated for the treatment of dermatosis in a chronic form, mainly when it is necessary to apply an occlusive dressing.

The agent "Pimafukort" (cream or ointment) in the treatment of otomycosis is injected into the ear canal.

This drug can cause an exacerbation of the current disease (in the first few days of therapy). After discontinuation of treatment , withdrawal syndrome is not excluded .
