By purchasing the fabric and the necessary sewing tools in a specialized store, without anybody's help, following the instructions, you will be able to realize all your ideas. In this article we propose a pattern of a goat, as well as an instruction for its tailoring.

Preparation for sewing

It is unlikely that there will be at least one person in the world who would be indifferent to toys. Beautiful soft creatures draw attention to themselves and children, and older children. They evoke cries of emotion, delight and cheerful smiles. Special love is enjoyed by toys that are sewn on their own. Small lambs, goats sewed by the mother's hands - this is the best gift for the baby, because she puts all the warmth of her soul in him.

What to prepare

To sew a toy, you will need the following:

• Suitable soft fabric, imitating wool;
• Material for the production of ears, muzzles and paws;
• Filler - sintepon;
• Thread in the tone of the fabric;
• Pins;
• Buttons for the peephole;
• Thread of a mule for embroidery of a muzzle;
• A simple pencil or marker for marking;
• Paper for the pattern;
• Scissors for fabric.

Draw on the sheet of paper the silhouettes of all the necessary components of the shape you like (the goat's pattern is given in the article), increasing it to the sizes appropriate for you. Cut all the details neatly, then place the pieces on the fabric laid out with the wrong side up, and circle around the contour. After that, cut out the details of the future goat from the material, retreating from the created silhouette by 0.5-1 cm (stock for the seam). The size of the allowance depends on the volume of the components of the toy being created. The goat pattern can be postponed for the next toy.

Sewing the head

Before you collect the goat, sew on the place where there will be a muzzle, eyes, highlight the mouth, nose, eyebrows and eyelashes. Then sew the components of the ears, folding the details with the wrong sides. Along the seam, make incisions with scissors so that there are no ugly assemblies on the outside. Next, turn the ears to the outside. Seams need to be straightened from the inside with a narrow knitting needle or pencil. Connect the outer slices to each other and attach the ears with tail pins to the top of the head with the face, sew along the edge, then turn the head piece to the outside and smooth the seams. Often the pattern of a goat toy at this stage assumes a moderate filling of the head with a sintepon to the base of the neck. The open cut is sewn.

Torso and legs

The parts of the calf are aligned with the wrong sides outward and sew together. Leave a hole so that you can easily stuff a toy. Turn out the trunk through a non-sewn cut and fill it with sintepon. Sew the gap with a hidden seam. Fold in pairs 8 parts, from which you will get 4 legs. Leave the hole, unscrew and fill with filler. Sew a cut, attach the legs with pins to the body, determining the location. Connect the extremities to the body with a hidden seam. With the tail work the same way. It remains to sew the head to the body - and your goat is ready.

Differences between patterns

You have already noticed that the pattern of a goat, a sheep can be different. We considered sewing toys from several parts. But you can sew a product from one or two parts - the head is sewn separately, the trunk with legs represents one part. The tail is created at will.

If the goat pattern, drawn by hand, consists of four parts, then sew one part of the abdomen with the outer barrel, and also the second parts with each other on the wrong sides outward. Then you need to connect the two already created parts together, sew on the contour, leaving the hole only on the abdomen. Turn out the resulting part and through the bottom hole, fill the trunk of the goat with a filler. It remains to sew a gap on the abdomen and sew a head to the body, which is created similarly as described above.

Christmas tree toy

The pattern of this Christmas tree decoration is quite simple in execution, and the toy itself is sewn very quickly. In general, one, two or three parts are used. Fill the body with a sintepon partially and loosely, and sometimes do not use filler at all. Combining the parts of each part in pairs, lay the decorative seam along the outer edge.
