Tyumen is the capital of Siberia, one of the largest cities of Russia. One of such objects was the Palace of Sports. Tyumen can not boast of a large number of such stadiums. After a global restoration, it became known as the "Center for Sports Training". It is the first ice arena of the city and the home for the hockey team "Rubin". This is one of the most popular places of leisure for residents of the city.

The stadium was erected in 1971 and was then called "Spartacus". A little more than ten years later, the reconstruction of the building began, which ended only in 1988. Due to such changes, the stadium turned into a full-scale sports complex, which made it suitable for holding competitions in different sports.

The Tyumen Sports Palace has the right to consider the assembled forces of the whole world. Its designs and components were delivered from all corners of the then USSR. Curious fact: the roof overlap is made of the same material that is used in the construction of aircraft.

Today, the Sports Palace (Tyumen) is the city's first ice arena and home arena for the Rubin hockey team. Comfortable stands accommodate a large number of spectators, thanks to the reconstruction there were an additional 200 seats. There was in the history of the structure and one more memorable page: at the beginning of the zeroes there was held the national judo championship.
