Orthodoxy in Novokosino. Temple of All Saints, or What are strong in spirit

For most parishioners, the Church of All Saints in Novokosino is a pleasant reward for their faith and diligence. It was only through their joint efforts that he was built on this earth. Therefore, the creation of the temple is the story of thousands of righteous people who wished to perform a miracle with their own hands. It is their faith and kindness that this story is devoted to.

New Hope

In the east of Moscow is a small picturesque area called Novokosino. Most of its inhabitants are believers. Therefore, they were saddened for a long time by the fact that they can see the church service only after crossing the many kilometers way to another part of the city.

Soon the Moscow diocese learned about the current problem of Novokosino. The temple is necessary for people, which means that the church must do something about it. And then, on June 22, 1999, Archpriest John Chizhenok received a special assignment from the holy Patriarch Alexy. He had to build a temple in Novokosino.

Overcoming difficulties

The trouble is that in those years the church was experiencing a large deficit of funds. Therefore, in spite of the fact that the authorities gave permission for construction, the process of erection was stalled. Then the clergy asked for help from the residents of Novokosino. The temple desperately needed any help that indifferent people could offer.

Soon after, the first sponsors appeared. And construction work began slowly, but confidently gaining momentum. However, it soon turned out that the clergy have obvious ill-wishers. Someone constantly put them in the wheel, because of which the construction of the temple was continually suspended.

And yet the faith of the Russian people is unshakable. Therefore, on July 3, 2009, all construction work in the shrine was completed. It was a real triumph for Novokosino - the temple finally earned, and the parishioners were able to visit their first service.

The Church of All Saints today

The shrine was named in honor of all the saints, that the Russian people glorified their exploits. And everyone who visits it, remembers their accomplishments and in the future tries to follow the righteous path. In addition, you can come here any day. After all, the church in Novokosino accepts the believers daily: from 8 am to 20.00 o'clock.

As for the abbot, now they are Archpriest Mikhail Zazvonov. In addition to him, seven other priests follow the order in the temple. Therefore, there is always an atmosphere of calm and comfort. In addition, there is a Sunday school on the territory of the church, in which everyone can learn the basics of the Orthodox faith.

And all this became possible only thanks to the joint efforts of the Moscow diocese and the inhabitants of Novokosino. That once again proves how strong and unshakable the faith of an Orthodox person can be.
