Nutrition in 1 year: what you need to know
The nutrition of the child in 1 year is shared by pediatricians for two periods: from one year to one and a half and from one and a half to two years. The first period of significant changes does not contribute either to the diet or to the methods of cooking. All dishes at this age are fed mostly in the form of puree (wiped) and given to the baby mostly with a spoon.
At this time, the child learns to chew food and then swallow. This is a kind of preparation for mastering coarser food - pieces, lumps.
The nipple and bottles should be gradually removed, since the baby, having got used to liquid food, often refuses any other kind of it (including puree).
The diet of a child in 1 year requires regularity (feeding by the clock).
The optimal regime of the day during this period should approach this schedule:
8.00 am - rise and morning toilet
8.30 - breakfast
9.30-12.00 - walks
12.30 - lunch
Before 4 pm - sleep
16.30-17.00 - afternoon snack
17.00-18.30 - walk
19.00-19.30 - dinner
From 20.30 - sleep
23.00 - night feeding (if necessary)
Of course, the schedule is approximate. The main goal that we are striving for is compliance with the "eat-walk-sleep" regime. By the way, for a walk it is not necessary to understand only the skating of a child in a stroller. It is compulsory to include communication and games corresponding to age.
The nutrition of the child in 1 year provides for five meals. Sometimes after a year, children refuse the second (night) dinner. In this case, they are transferred to another, four-rhythm, slightly increasing the interval between meals. There is no harm in this case for the child's body. The main thing, as already mentioned, is that the baby's nutrition should be regular and painted by the clock in 1 year.
With five-time feeding, the approximate volume of food is approximately 250 g, respectively, the daily amount is about 1200 g.
Nutrition of the child in 1 year should become more diverse. Of course, dairy products continue to lead (750 grams of milk per day). Introduced rubbed cheese and cheese (also rubbed).
As for the eggs, it is better to give only yolk (up to one and a half years) (steeply boiled, added to vegetable purée).
Instead of meat once a week, the child is given sea fish (boiled, mashed, preferably fillets). River and lake fish in the presence of exudative diathesis can cause an exacerbation of the disease.
Vegetable puree is better to combine. It is undesirable to get involved in potatoes, which complicate digestion (not more than 150 g per day). Of vegetables, cauliflower, carrots, turnip, white cabbage, pumpkin, onion are preferred. All this, of course, is given in a boiled form.
Honey in the baby's food is introduced especially carefully. This is too strong an allergen, therefore, in addition to good, it can also cause harm.
