"Newspaper" manicure - original ideas in nail design

Currently, there are a lot of ideas for creative and stylish nail design. One of the bright and original types of manicure is the so-called "newspaper" manicure. He was invented in France by a young, but rather ambitious girl-cosmetician, who dreamed of universal recognition and world fame. When a column was published about her in a local little-known newspaper, she decided to make her clients a manicure using the pieces of the same edition. That's how she glorified not only herself, but that same newspaper.

Many women of fashion will agree that the "newspaper" manicure looks unusual, bold and attractive. Each nail will have a different original and unique pattern.

Where to make a manicure?

This unusual and beautiful design of nails will take a little time. You just need a little imagination and a desire to be extraordinary and stand out from the "gray" mass. However, many masters of nail art offer their own manicure services at home, but you will agree that such a creation will be nicer to create, it's quite easy. So, let's start:

1. Prepare the necessary materials: glossy magazine or newspaper, acetone, lacquers (color and colorless).

2. First of all, remove from the surface of the nail plate a layer of old lacquer coating with a cotton swab, slightly moistened with acetone or a liquid to remove varnish.

3. Give your nails the desired shape. It should be noted that the "newspaper" manicure looks perfect on any form of nails.

4. Gently move the cuticle with a wooden stick and grind the surface of the nail well with a specially designed nail file. Do not use a large abrasive nail file for treatment, otherwise you risk damaging the nail plate.

5. Cut out 10 smaller squares from the selected publication, given that each one should be slightly larger than your nail. This is necessary in order to easily remove pieces of newspaper or magazine from its surface.

6. Apply a colored lacquer on the nail plate, without waiting for it to dry completely, attach a newspaper square, moistened with a drop of acetone, and squeeze it well against the nail. Try not to move the paper, otherwise the ink may be spread over the entire nail. Wait for complete drying, then gently remove the rest of the newspaper from the nail and cover with a layer of colorless varnish, which will serve as some kind of fixer.

There is also another version of this manicure. For its implementation, you need to stock up with the following materials: a colorless lacquer coating, alcohol or acetone, as well as pieces of newspaper. The main difference of this method is that the base (main) coating is not colored, but transparent lacquer. All the steps listed above are absolutely identical for both the first and second versions.

"Newspaper manicure" is ready! Now you know how to decorate your nails with simple and accessible materials! Such marigolds will please you and attract the enthusiastic gazes of your friends.
