Multi-level ceilings from plasterboard: modern, beautiful, profitable

Any apartment repairs are carried out on the same principle: "from window to door" and "from top to bottom." That's why, most often, the owner starts repair work in the house from the ceiling. And although it seems that the ceiling plays a secondary role in the apartment, it is from its quality and interior solution will largely depend on the impression of the entire room.

But how to make a house beautiful and cozy, if its ceiling irregularities and various defects are so obvious, and the differences are so great that sometimes it is almost impossible to conceal them? And if the house is still old, the floors between the floors are in terrible condition, and after dismantling the unnecessary partitions, "inappropriate" beams come out from somewhere? What to do here? Hands dropping!

The exit from this situation will be multi-level ceilings from plasterboard. They can become a blanket covering all flaws and shortcomings, and will allow creating a modern, beautiful, unusual design that can emphasize the peculiarity of each room.

The ceiling of plasterboard is multilevel and one-level. A simple single-level one is a classic solid one that does not attract attention at all. But multilevel - it's just a fairy tale!

Multi-level ceilings from plasterboard can consist of two, three or even four levels and not only hide the flaws of the ceiling plane, but also split the rooms into separate zones.

Quite often, the owners of apartments install patterns in the form of small geometric figures (oval, square, diamond), which are located in the center or corners of the ceiling. Modern dwellings sometimes represent one large, open room, the so-called studio. But in fact for the convenience of living in such a premise, its proper organization is required. The apartment necessarily requires two zones: personal and public. They can include numerous mini-zones: a place for eating, for rest or for work. And if there are practically no walls in the room, functional areas can be created using different levels of the ceiling. For example, we can see on the ceiling an oval, which is an exact copy of a dining table in the dining room. You can somehow highlight a bed, a bar counter or a bathroom. Even a transition from one area to another can be distinguished by applying such a technique.

As a rule, the allocation of areas in the room helps and the finish of the floor, for example, the so-called podiums or different in texture and color floor coverings.

Multi-level ceilings from gypsum board successfully help to solve one more problem: visually "lift" the ceiling. Designers well know this technique: the feeling of increasing space in one room is due to a decrease in the other. And if you want to at least visually increase the dining room, then it is necessary to lower the ceiling level, for example, in the hallway. The base ceiling can be identified with the help of other designer "things": lighting, textures, colors, etc.

Multi-level ceilings from plasterboard experts advise to do only in those rooms where the base ceiling has a height of not less than three meters. Otherwise, the room with low ceilings will be even lower, because the installation of multi-level ceilings from plasterboard will make the height of the room smaller. At least fifteen centimeters.

Ceilings from plasterboard are undesirable to establish in kitchens, in bathrooms. This is due to the fact that such a surface very well absorbs odors and moisture, and over time will lose its attractiveness, and for the hall and living room it will do the best because it has high sound and good thermal insulation. For the bathroom, you can use high humidity material.

Drywall is a lightweight, plastic, environmentally friendly, fire-resistant sheet material. It is reinforced with special metal supports, and the supporting beams are then fixed to the ceiling, that is, they create a metal frame. Such prefabricated multi-level ceilings made of plasterboard with their own hands can be installed quite simply. But an independently made surface will be beautiful if the number of levels is not more than two. But with ceilings with a large number of levels can be handled only by specialists.
