A popular humorist was born on August 19, 1981 in Tomsk. Our hero from an early age demonstrated creative abilities. He loved to dance and make home concerts. The boy wrote the lyrics on the go.

Study

It would seem that Mikhail Bashkatov's future was predetermined. He had to become an artist. But after graduating from high school, the guy went to enter the Faculty of Economics of the State University. This university is located in his native Tomsk.

Soon Michael realized that he had made the wrong choice. After all, he was not going to work by profession. But Misha did not want to leave the university.

KVN

Mikhail Bashkatov was one of the most cheerful and resourceful students. Therefore, he could not be included in the local team of KVN. He began performing on the stage as part of the team "Lights of the Big City". But there Misha did not last long. He was "enticed" by the founder of the theater of humorous miniatures "Boniface". "Maximum"

In 2003, Mikhail announced his retirement from Boniface. But this did not mean that he was not going to engage in humor anymore. Bashkatov and his friend Andrei Burkovsky create the "Maximum" team. They are joined by young and ambitious guys. It took several months to write jokes and create funny numbers. After that, the team began to conquer the KVN. Bashkatov and his friends were recognized as winners of the Tomsk "Humorina". And in Krasnoyarsk the team "Maximum" got the Cup of KVN.

The next step was to perform on the main stage in Moscow. The debut of "Maximum" in the Premier League occurred in 2004. The team shared the first place with "Megapolis". The public in the hall stood cheering for the decision of the jury.

2005 proved to be unsuccessful for Maxim. The team played in the 1/8 finals, but could not win high marks. As a result, Tomsk citizens got the 5th place. According to the rules of KVN, the team automatically flies from the Major League.

A year later, "Maximum" managed to take revenge. The team had a chance to break into the semifinals and take second place. Since 2009, "Maximum" does not participate in the KVN. And Michael is invited to the transfer as a member of the jury.

Life outside of KVN

To date, Mikhail Bashkatov is a sought-after actor. Together with Andrei Burkovsky, he starred in the sitcom "Give Youth". Also on his account are several bright roles in TV shows and feature films.

Personal life
