Midfielder Ivan Solovyov: biography of the football player

Russian midfielder Ivan Soloviev became one of the most discussed transfers of "Zenith", having moved to the camp of the five-time champion of the country. However, after playing only one match for the main team, the midfielder disappeared from the view of the fans. In order to find out where Ivan Soloviev is playing now, it's enough to go through the pages of his biography.

Dynamo school

The beginning of the football career of the native of Kaluga took place in the Moscow school "Dynamo", where he came after the 10th grade. In the youth team, despite the late start, Ivan Soloviev quickly found a place, becoming one of the key players, and also received the title of vice-captain. Such a rapid growth of the midfielder noticed in the coaching staff of the Muscovites base, and in 2012 several times declared the midfielder for the match. The player's debut came at the end of October - as part of the Russian Cup, the midfielder was replaced in the second half of the meeting against the Khimki club outside Moscow. For the half-hour games, the young Ivan Solovyov managed to get a yellow card and an effective transfer, which led to a winning goal of "white and blue".

Such a successful start was estimated by the mentor of "Dynamo" Dan Petrescu, who began to regularly attract players to the matches of the main line-up. As a result, having played in 13 matches in the 2012/2013 season, Ivan Soloviev managed to score one goal, having won a victory in the Derby with Lokomotiv (1-0), and also making two assists in a successful game against Rubin (3 : 0). Promising midfielder for himself looked "Zenith", and even during the season agreed with the club about the transfer of the player.

Moving to St. Petersburg

In early August 2013, Ivan Solovyov, a football player with no extensive experience behind the game, moved to the camp of vice-champion of Russia. The press reacted with great interest to this event. The journalists' question was not related to the cost of the transfer - the player went to Zenit for free, but concerned the goals of the St. Petersburg club regarding the young player. As shown by the fate of Solovyov, the plans for the team for him almost was not - for the entire first half of the season, the midfielder played as a basis only once, coming on as a substitute in the Cup of Russia against Tyumen.

Non-game rentals

The second part of the season Soloviev went to finish the game in Perm "Amkar", where he was supposed to receive a game practice. But the character of the player and his mood did not suit the mentor Permyaks Stanislav Cherchesov, because of what the field midfielder appeared only three times, leaving less than half an hour. All of 2015 Solovyov spent, speaking exclusively for the youth squad, he could not get closer to the main team. In 2016, the coaching staff decided to send a player to the Finnish "Lahti", where he played 12 inconclusive games and returned to St. Petersburg, where his contract with the club was over, which neither he nor Zenit himself was planning to renew.

Decrease to FNL

After the end of the contract with Zenit, Ivan Soloviev quickly found a new club, signing a contract with Voronezh "Torch", where he still performs. In the new league-less club, the midfielder began to receive the long-awaited game practice, but failed to score anything outstanding during the season - Ivan gave one goal transfer and made one yellow card for 11 matches in the "blue-and-white" team.

According to Soloviev himself in an interview he gave shortly after leaving Zenit, switching to a team from St. Petersburg was a mistake, he advised young players not to follow his example. Still, the midfielder does not mind coming back to the former club after a while to prove his worth. Meanwhile, Ivan is trying to help "Torch" catch on for the transitional matches in the FNL - according to the results of the first part of the season Voronezh club is 5th.
