Mateo Kovacic is a Croatian midfielder born in Austria on May 6, 1994. At the moment, the player stands for the club, considered one of the best in the world and promising for any player - in Madrid "Real". During his short life the Croat has already managed to play in several famous clubs and show himself at a decent level, so it's worth talking about him.

early years

Born Mateo Kovacic in a family of Croatians of Bosnian origin. In 1991, his parents moved to Austria, and three years later the future famous football player appeared. He started playing very early, and he became a football player under the name "LASK" to study football. There he spent seven years. But at the age of 13, the young midfielder was in the realm of interests of clubs like Ajax, Stuttgart, Juventus and Bayern. However, to continue his career in one of the famous clubs Mateo failed, because his parents decided to move to Zagreb. So the midfielder had to continue his football activities there, in FC Dynamo. It was here that he felt the taste of professional sports: the guy first entered the field in the framework of the Croatian champion. It was in 2010 year. Then he designed his very first goal. He scored him in the gate of his rivals in 16 years! So this football player became the youngest author of the goal in the entire history of the League of Croatia.

Moving to Italy

There he blinked himself the tenth number that used to belong to such a famous football player as Wesley Sneijder. On January 31, a contract was signed, and on the 3rd of February he made his debut in the game against the "Siena". Then he replaced Esekiel Skelotto in the second half. And after 12 days he made his debut in the European League. By the way, in that match Mateo Kovacic made an effective transfer to Rodrigo Palacio, who quickly navigated and scored the winning goal.

Madrid "Real" and the national team

Mateo Kovacic is a football player who instantly attracts the attention of professionals. When he was not and 21-year, they became interested in Madrid "Real". The club made an offer to the Croat to join them and, of course, he agreed, considering it as an invaluable experience. Mateo Kovacic was purchased for a substantial sum (for such a young football player). The Spaniards gave him 35 million euros. And on August 23, the Croat entered the field as part of the new club. It was a match that took place in the framework of the La Liga. Then "Madrid" played with Gihon "Sporting". Kovacic was released instead of Isko in the second half.
