A ballerina made of wire and napkins is a very interesting piece of art that will decorate the bedroom, living room or children's room. It is weightless, so the interior with it is light and airy. We propose to learn how a ballerina made of napkins and wire is made.

Necessary tools and materials

To make such a ballerina, do not need a lot of materials and tools. It is enough to take:

  • Napkins (it is better to use plain white, blue, pink and so on);
  • Flexible wire;
  • PVA glue;
  • Strong threads (the same color as the napkins);
  • scissors;
  • pliers.

Ballerina from wire and napkins: master class

The work is done quite quickly, in just a few steps:

  • A wire frame is created;
  • Fully prepared body with napkins;
  • A skirt is made;
  • The ballerina is assembled and installed.

Making the frame

A ballerina made of wire and napkins begins to be produced with the creation of a carcass-trunk. To do this, take the wire and bite off a long piece. Then fold it in half. In the bend place, make a small loop. This will be the head of the future ballerina. After the loop, twist the two pieces of wire together, but not to the end. Leave the ends unbroken - these are the feet. The longer they are, the better.

Take a piece of smaller wire and fold it in half. Now it needs to be completely twisted, leaving no loops and ends. This will be your hands, so place the resulting piece of wire on our "torso", stepping back slightly from the head. Tighten the part around the frame. If the length of the hands turned out different, then this can be corrected with the help of pliers.

We finish the trunk

Take two or three napkins (the amount depends on the size of the craft) and tear them into thin strips a half of a centimeter wide. Be sure to tear them with your hands, not scissors. It is necessary that the napkins have torn edges. Then pour PVA glue into a wide container.

Now take one strip, dunk it in the glue so that it completely absorbed it. Pull out a piece of napkin and wrap it around the ballerina's leg. If fingers work inconveniently, take tweezers. So wrap the wire frame completely. Your dancer from the wire and napkins (photo above) should resemble a mummy.

Wait for the workpiece to dry. To make this happen faster, place the hand-crafted item under the table lamp or put it on the battery.

We make a pack

Take a napkin and fold it diagonally a couple of times, as in the picture above. Cut off the peeping triangle, rounding the edges. Then twist the napkin around its axis. Then expand it. You have a magnificent cone. Make several such blanks. The more of them, the more splendid the pack will turn out.

Also, you can adjust the length of the skirt: cut more of the edge of the napkin so that the pack is shorter. If you use multi-layer napkins, then layer them.

Final stage

Attach the two blanks of the pack in the middle of the frame on both sides and rewind the napkins with a thread. Then put two more pieces on top, as in the picture above. Wrap the napkins so that the dress turns out. You can also limit one napkin from the bottom and from above, having done in each hole in the center and passing through the top and bottom, respectively.

Between the first and second layer of napkins, do a few more to make the skirt more magnificent. When you finish making a dress, give the ballerina a uniform. Spread her arms and lift one leg up.

A ballerina made of napkins and wire is ready!

Such an article can be put on a stand (for example, on a wooden block). A very beautiful looking garland of ballerinas. To do this, you need to make several of them. Use a different color of the napkin to make the garland brighter. Then tie the thread to each ballerina. You can also use a thin tape or fishing line. To thread had an attractive appearance, string on it several large beads. To fix them at the correct height, you can use a knot. Hang ribbons with dancers under the window or next to the bed. He's the slightest breeze, the garland will move, and the ballerinas will spin and hover in the air.
