Lipoma on the head and other parts of the body

Lipoma is a benign formation that consists of the accumulation of fatty deposits in a certain place on the human body. Usually, because of the most constituent lipoma in the people, it is simply called a zherovik. It is visible to the naked eye - this is an eminence on the skin, which can be different in consistency, often soft. The place of lipoma is not changed by coloring - the skin has a healthy color, only you can see the elevation.

It is located in any part of the human body . If the lipoma on the head, it often causes purely cosmetic discomfort and from it, as a rule, get rid of in a medical institution. Independently this can not be done, because the very fact of the lipoma must be confirmed by the doctor, so that it is not a malignant neoplasm, and secondly - any independent intervention threatens further suppuration.

If there is more than one education on the human body, then this phenomenon is called lipomatosis. In this case, lipoma can appear on the neck, a lipoma on the leg, a lipoma on the back. As a rule, multiple greens can be arranged symmetrically to each other.

The causes of the appearance of adipose tissue are seen in the clogging of sebaceous ducts, which can not normally allocate waste products of the skin.

Lipomas are divided into several varieties, depending on what elements are involved in the process. If only fatty deposits, it's lipofibroma. It is soft to the touch and mobile. Fibrous tissue can also be part of the lipoma, then it is called fibrolipoma.

Lipoma on the head is most common in men, and on other parts of the body - in women. This is due to possible changes during the period of puberty, when the sebaceous glands begin to produce fat more actively, thereby creating on the face reserves for the further growth of such formations. There are lipomas that are on the internal organs and are not visible to the naked eye. Angiolipoma contains some of the blood vessels, and myolipoma - muscle tissue.

In terms of its size, lipoma can be different - from a small completely unnoticeable pea, to a big bump, causing discomfort. Its peculiarity is that during the life of a person it can increase, and the reasons for this increase can not yet be established. Even if the human body as a whole grows thin, the lipoma can still add in size. And one more postulate - lipomas do not pass and do not resolve. Drugs, ointments or miracle cream against them also do not exist. Lipoma on the head though looks unaesthetic, nevertheless, many are afraid of removing it because of the possibility of leaving a scar in its place. It is important to mention here that the growth of the lipoma threatens further infringement of a certain area of tissues in the diet, blood stasis and necrosis of tissues. In this case, the consequences will look much worse than after the removal of education at an early stage.

Previously, lipomas were removed by a single route - surgical, after which often there is an unaesthetic hole. To date, the lipoma on the head, namely on the face, is removed with the help of a laser - it does not leave any scars on the skin, but the result after its removal is simply excellent. Removing the laser ensures that there will be no formation at this point, so this is another plus.

If there is a lipoma on the neck, then it is also better to remove the laser, so as not to leave a scar that can not be covered with clothing. But the lipoma on the leg requires consultation of the vascular surgeon (phlebologist), who will examine it for its interaction with the veins, and will give the go-ahead for the operation. Removal of the lipoma by the laser is a bloodless method, which at the moment is progressive in the treatment of this disease.
