Preparation of coating for laying

Laying a heterogeneous semi-commercial coating should be carried out in a room, the relative humidity in which does not exceed 70%. If used in other cases, the linoleum "Tarkett", its technical characteristics may deteriorate.

Unpacking of the sheets must be carried out in a dry room, at an air temperature not lower than + 15 ° С. Coverage, delivery of which was carried out at a temperature of 0 to +10 ° C, requires acclimatization for 24 hours, and at a temperature below 0 ° C - 48 hours. Characteristics of the "Tarkett" linoleum require its acclimatization in expanded form. To do this, it is necessary to spread the rolls and leave them at room temperature for a day.

Stages of laying linoleum

After the preparation of the foundation and the material itself, you can start the flooring of the linoleum. The process is performed in several stages:

• Fitting the canvas. The unfolded cover is located close to the flat wall. If it has gyrus, then lay linen overlap.
• Fixation of the floor material. Bend the edges of the material, tear off the protective layer of the double-sided tape and stretch the linoleum, pressing it to the base.
• Edge cutting. Pressing the canvas against the wall, mark the cut line, leaving a gap between the wall and linoleum 5 - 10 mm. When pruning, make sure that the coating does not form a wave.
• Bonding. Bend the blade to half and tear off the protective film of the double-sided tape. When laying the canvas, make sure that no bubbles appear under it. On the surface of the linoleum, run the roller in the direction of the corners. Put the second half in the same way.
• Sealing of seams. Seal joints by cold welding with the use of glue in a special package. To do this, gently place the tip of the back of the cloth and, moving it along, apply the adhesive on the thickness of the coating.
