The case is elongated, braided manually, the tab on the button. To make it, you will need: a pair of scissors, a punch or an awl, a ruler, a pencil, a button with a magnet, a cut of the skin.

Measuring the keys to the width of the binder and the length of the biggest key, create a pattern. Fold the piece of leather in half, the front side inward. The strap is a one piece piece folded in half. Therefore, from the bend draw half of the strap, the size corresponding to the length of the cover. The ends of the leash can be cut in the shape of a diamond - for sewing a button. Next, cut out the base of two identical parts, rounding the bottom of the cover. The second part from the button is attached to one part of the strap, then fold it in half, beforehand passing through the ring. We glue both parts. For the decor we sew the tongue around the perimeter by hand. After drying, make holes from the sides of the cover and weave the cord by placing the strap inside the product.

How to make a braid

The braided housekeeper of leather, made with her own hands, looks more original and original, which gives her personality and creativity. But not many people know how to make a beautiful leather cord for a braid.

The cord is long enough and in size more than twice the length of the braided part of the part. It is not always possible to find a suitable piece of skin. There is an easy way to get a long cord from a small piece. To do this, we draw and cut out a circle with a diameter of 8 cm. Then, in a spiral, keeping the width of 3 mm and moving to the very center, we cut out a string with a length of at least 2 meters. The resulting thread will be uneven. To straighten the bends, you need to hold it in hot water and wrap it around the bottle. The cord will stretch and after drying will lose its curvature.

After measuring a bunch of keys, we cut out a piece of leather from the skin with a width that is three times larger, and a length equal to a key of +1 cm for free placement. The second part for key holders should be reduced in width by 1 cm, the length will match the size of the carabiner base. To install a metal part, you need rivets.
