Laser Wart Removal

The wart is a cutaneous growth. It is a small skin tumor with a size of several millimeters to one centimeter. There are the following varieties of warts: ordinary (in the form of small dense nodules that do not cause pain); Plantar (cause pain when walking); Flat (in the form of small nodules, not protruding above the level of the skin); Genital warts (occur on the genitals) and senile (associated with aging of the body).

Warts arise as a result of the impact of the papilloma virus on the body. To prevent the occurrence of warts, you should not forget about the basic rules of personal hygiene. Do not go barefoot in public places, do not abuse shoes that do not let in air (legs sweat in it), try not to touch other people's warts. In addition, proper balanced nutrition and adherence to a healthy lifestyle is important.

How do warts be removed? You can remove a wart in several ways that modern medicine offers. These methods are listed below.

First, the wart can be removed by cryodestruction (or by freezing liquid nitrogen). Liquid nitrogen is applied to the wart with a swab that is neatly attached to a special stick. Freezing lasts about 30 seconds. After that, the wart becomes whiter and denser, and within a week it dries up and disappears. In its place a pinkish spot forms. It should be noted that the removal of plantar warts is more difficult.

The next method is electrocoagulation. The wart is cut with a thin loop of metal. Thanks to high-frequency discharges of current, there is no bleeding, and tissues are disinfected. Local anesthesia is used in the operation. After the procedure, expect a small crust, which will disappear after 7 days.

There is also a laser wart removal. This method was called lazerocoagulation. The wart is removed by layers using a laser. Local anesthesia is also used. After this, a deeper appears on the skin, which gradually disappears. Which way to choose - electrocoagulation or removal of warts by laser - is up to you.

If the warts are large, then surgical intervention is necessary. Removal occurs with the help of a scalpel, after which a cosmetic suture is applied to the skin.

Very rarely use chemical means. The wart is smeared with alkali, acid or some other specific liquid. It should be noted that with this method, adjacent tissues can be damaged. However, some warts are well removed with salicylic acid (liquid or ointment). The main thing, put salicylic acid directly on the wart, and not on the surrounding tissue.

After you have removed the wart, it is advisable to drink vitamins (which the doctor will prescribe) to avoid relapse.
