Kommersant - this sounds proudly!

Commerce has always attracted attention, as well as any area where big money is spinning. Logically one can assume that businessmen are people who are engaged in commerce. However, in this issue there are some complications and conventions, so it is worth investigating in more detail.

Kommersant: the meaning of the word and history

The rich Russian language is rich in synonyms, and each of them has its own emotional shade. With respectful emphasis they talk about businessmen, businessmen and businessmen, but such terms as merchant and merchant are already outdated, although all these are absolute synonyms. If you change the emotional tone, it turns out that the merchants are speculators, hucksters and shopkeepers.

Historically, in our country, entrepreneurs were in a difficult situation. Tsarist Russia extolled the noble blood, but merchants belonged to the merchant stratum, and the contemptuous nickname "merchant" was common. Peter I gave respectees respect, raised them to a new level, but the Soviet Union again brought them to the pit even more bottomless. Under the USSR, private property was blamed so violently that the businessman was only one - the state. There was a new definition, according to which the merchant - the man by default greedy and dishonest, a huckster and a speculator. Now, commerce has returned to its proper place and is respected.

Talent or profession?

What do you need to become a merchant - a special feeling or it can be learned? Theoretically, it can be argued that a businessman is a profession, and quite difficult. You need to have a broad view and unconventional thinking, be able to combine several different specialties, be a financier, a trader and a diplomat.

However, why are there so many middle-class entrepreneurs who year after year are interrupted by modest profits, barely enough to cover everyday expenses? At the same time, there are amazing people who are told that money literally sticks to their hands. It turns out that these merchants are descendants of the legendary King Midas, who turned everything into gold into anything he touched. Of course, you can learn commerce, just as you can learn to read music. However, if there is no natural instinct, then the ideal can not be achieved.

Difficulties of modern commerce

At the moment, businessmen are more diplomats who are trying to slip in a jewelry imperfect enough to manage not to go broke and comply with all laws at the same time. This is not all possible, because in addition to legislative errors, there are always envious and greedy people who want to get an undeserved piece of someone else's pie. In the "dashing nineties," the businessman was automatically considered a bandit, because business acumen was in parallel with the criminal talent, otherwise it was just not to survive. Surprisingly, in such circumstances, entrepreneurs generally managed to do something.

Now the borders are open, but not wide-open, the world markets beckon with wide opportunities, but one has to closely study the mentality of the world business, which in each country has its own unique national color. If we now ask the question: "Kommersant is who: criminals or merchants?" - then the answer may be discouraging, because the modern term "oligarch" is most often perceived as a "mega-merchant". An entrepreneur who does not want to lag behind the accelerating rhythm of life, is forced to continuously learn and stay on the crest of the wave. New technologies have to be adopted faster, so that competitors do not have time to drown the business of a too conservative merchant.

How to become a merchant

Despite the fact that the talent for entrepreneurial activity is a desirable trait, it is also true that an industrious artisan will achieve greater success than a lazy talent. Active people are widely approached to their opportunities on the path of entrepreneurship, first of all they subject their own talents to critical analysis, look for their own strengths and work on shortcomings.

So, businessmen are someone: gifted merchants or still persistent amateurs with trading talents? Any person can become a merchant, after all, even grandmother, who sells sunflower seeds, is also engaged in commerce, and very successfully. Such grandmother and sunflower seeds are delicious, and the place is chosen wisely, and the image corresponds to the expectations of the buyers. Over such a harmony in serious firms, there are whole analytical departments struggling. Becoming a merchant is simple - you need to get up and start acting, and the degree of success of an enterprise depends only on your purposefulness.
