First, the most popular places visited by "green tourists" are reserves or security zones, in which the cultivation of a fire is prohibited. In them, tourist gas stoves will be the only possible way to cook food. Secondly, cooking at the stake requires time, experience, skill and dry wood. The price of gas cartridges with collet mounting is small (especially when compared with cylinders for burners), and the cost of the tourist plates varies depending on the manufacturer, and cheap samples (for example, the tourist gas stove "Gefest") are not much inferior to expensive analogues.

Existing shortcomings

And what about without them. Tourist gas stoves for all their positive qualities have disadvantages. Actually, one drawback inherent in all devices working on gas. Liquefied gas does not like low temperatures and already at +5 burns frankly bad. Therefore, if you decide to rest in the winter forest, then the gas stove will be superfluous.
