Kiev-Kherson: a journey through the expanses of Ukraine

The roads of Ukraine, especially from the north to the south, are very popular. The path "Kiev-Kherson" is a road leading to the Black Sea coast. It is in the Kherson region that the sea is now particularly clean and pleasant.

Approximately the same path length will be when choosing the third option. It will be the easiest and most enjoyable for your car, as approximately half of the road will run along the autobahn "Kiev-Odessa".

Wisdom of the shortest path "Kiev-Kherson"

This way is very interesting in that it is necessary to go through a lot of regional centers, villages, along roads of regional importance. So, you leave Kiev. Heading on the Obukhov route. After passing Obukhov, go further along the highway towards the large regional center of Kyiv region - Kagarlyk. Further, also not yet to turn off the wide highway. You drive right up to Mironovka. After Mironovka make a right turn. On country roads and roads of regional importance, you can get to the city of Shpola. In the district center you will be prompted how to leave for Novomirgorod. Then on the journey from the travelers will be Malaya Viska. Then, after leaving on the road "Kirovograd-Stryi", turn towards the village of Zlynka. On this road you can safely get to Novoukrainka. Then you can not go straight ahead, so we advise you to head towards Elance and Bratsky. After all this trip from Elantz, you need to go to the track "Kirovograd-Nikolaev". Then you can, of course, go directly, but the roads of regional importance are in very poor condition. You arrive on the road to Nikolaev, turn left, and a straight road in the direction of Kherson opens before you.

Road on the Autobahn

Of course, it's safer to go along a good road, and it's safer for a car. Therefore, motorists with little experience should consider this option as well. The route "Kiev-Odessa" starts in the very center of Kiev, in the Pechersky district. Leaving the city, first follow the south-west ... Although what's there to tell, because the route itself will lead to the destination. Collapse left will be only in the Kirovograd region, not reaching several kilometers to the regional center of Ulyanovka. Next, the car will run through the town. Golovanevsk and the village with a beautiful name Luxurious. A few kilometers after this village, the road offers a choice of two ways: towards Kirovohrad and towards Pervomaysk. Choose a road to Pervomaisk. A large section of the road will pass through the Mykolayiv region. Travelers on the route "Kiev-Kherson" will travel through several interesting regional centers (Yuzhnoukrainsk, in which one of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, Novy Odessa, Voznesensk) is located. So you will reach Nikolayev, and then the road will go straight to Kherson.

By bus

In the first section of the article, we talked about three ways. So, the bus "Kiev-Kherson" is traveling on the third way. This shuttle bus runs every day. From Kherson leaves in the morning at 7.10. The first stop in Nikolaev will last 10 minutes and at 8.20 the bus leaves towards the city of Bashtanka. The way to this point will take just over an hour. At 10.15 departure from Novy Bug towards Bobrinets (Kirovograd region) will take place. After Bobrinets (departure from there at 11.45) the bus will stop in Kirovograd. Here, passengers can relax for 20 minutes from a tedious long trip. Then the bus "Kiev-Kherson" passes Alexandrovka, Smelu of the Cherkasy region, Korsun-Shevchenkovsky, Kagarlyk and arrives at the central bus station in Kiev at 18.50. From Kiev also to Kherson the bus goes every day. The departure time from the central station is 9.00. Passes the same settlements of Ukraine, as well as on the way from Kherson. How to get there by train?

Every day, a train runs between these cities. From the capital, the train "Kiev-Kherson" leaves in the evening, and in the morning the traveler is already in Kherson. A passenger who wants to get to Kiev in Kherson on the train sits also in the evening. The journey takes 12 hours 23 minutes. The train goes to both destinations such towns and villages as Snegirevka, Bereznegovatoy, White Well, Vysokopole, Apostolovo, Krivoy Rog, Timkovo, Dolinskaya, Funduklevka station (Alexandrovka), Kamenka, Smila, Tsvetkovo, Gorodishche, Korsun, Mironovka.

Here is such a journey on the route "Kiev-Kherson"! The distance between the cities is impressive, but to overcome it is really a maximum of 12-13 hours.
