John McEnroe: biography and tennis career

In the history of sports there are a lot of good tennis players, but outstanding units. Truly, John McEnroe was one of them. He combined talent and diligence, which brought him to the podium of honor and glory.

Childhood

John McEnroe was born in the winter, February 16, 1959, in the United States of America. His father was a military man at the air base and resigned when his first-born was born. Then he worked as an office manager and trained law in the evening shift, the mother of the future tennis player was a nurse.

Our hero began to get involved in sports already in eight years: he constantly participated in junior tournaments, and already in four years he won a place in the top ten tennis players of America in his age group. At the age of twelve, he begins to seriously engage in sports at the Tennis Academy. John McEnroe achieved excellent results, but, despite this, always dreamed of professional employment in basketball. Together with school lessons and tennis training the boy was engaged in the distribution of newspapers and moonlighting in tournaments.

In 1975, the boy begins individual training with Tony Pelafoks, and this gives his results: in the Junior Cup, he easily gets into the team. Future tennis player set goals and confidently walked to them. John McEnroe - who is this? The name is much more likely to sound on the lips of Americans as soon as he wins the second prize in 1976 in the junior ratings of his category, and at the same time the boy first participates in the games. As a result, in late 1976, the athlete took 246 line in the ranking.

Athlete's achievements

Professional athlete John McEnroe becomes at the age of nineteen. He wins in eighty-four singles! In the doubles, he scored seventy-eight victories. His number of won titles allows him to occupy the third place. Professional tennis player is among the obvious leaders, letting forward only the legendary tennis players Todd Wobridge and Daniel Nestor, as well as Mike and Bob Bryan. Ironically, the end of his career ideally coincides with the completion of marriage. His wife is filing for a divorce, which is formalized only two years after the application. Already in 1997 he again marries, and he has two daughters. John McEnroe organizes a rock band and tries to pursue a career as a rock musician. He also starts to work as a sports commentator on several American TV channels. After the sunset of his brilliant career, he moves to the state and is already fully engaged in commenting matches. Also John McEnroe, a tennis player in the past, begins to practice art: he tried to become an art critic, opened a gallery and even collected a small collection of paintings.

Life after tennis

Already in 2002, the athlete produces an autobiographical book. Two years later he even tries to pursue a television career and takes the place of the TV presenter in the eponymous show "Makinroi" and in the TV game "Armchair". Programs lasted a short time, and because of the low ratings they are closed. This does not end there, and John plays in several films and series, such as "The Millionaire in captivity", "Wimbledon", "Studio 30".

Soon after the restoration, a cloakroom was opened in its original form, which remained exactly the same as it was in 1920. A unique holography - a double of John McEnroe - leads through it.
