Puppet theater in Ivanovo exists for more than 80 years. In his repertoire are performances for both children and adults. The theater is the organizer of the International Festival of Puppeteers.

History

Children's Puppet Theater (Ivanovo), photo of the building of which is presented in this article, opened in 1935 year. It was founded by Ekaterina Pirogova. She was a student of Sergei Obraztsov himself.

Initially, the puppet theater was a branch of the Theater of Young Spectators. Since 1940, he gained independence.

In the years of the Great Patriotic War, Evgeni Demmeni worked at the Ivanovo Puppet Theater.

Since 1951 the main director was BK Pashkov. When he began to pay much attention to scenic speech and work on the image.

Since 1980, over the past 15 years, the theater was directed by EG Demirova. Thanks to her expanded repertoire. It included musicals, epic, folk operas. These are the performances "The Mysterious Hippo", "The Tsar Wanderer", "Twelve Months", "Teremok", "Mukha-Tsokotukha", "Hunter to Fairy Tales", "The Hero of the Russian Land", "Moydodyr", "Holiday of Disobedience".

Since 1996, the theater was directed by E.E. Ivanova. Thanks to her in the repertoire there were performances "Playing Knights", "Ladushki-ladushki", "Tchaikovsky's Children's Album", "Tales of the Brothers Grimm" and "Tale-Mystery".

At the theater, a children's studio was created, the students of which took part in the productions together with the actors.

The pride of the Ivanovo puppeteers is the international festival "Anthill". It was established in 1995. In the festival in different years troupes from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belarus, Lithuania and other countries took part. And also from different cities of Russia: Yaroslavl, Moscow, Murmansk, St. Petersburg, Kursk, Orenburg, Cheboksary, Ufa and many others. The festival takes place in Ivanovo once in two years.

Since 2008, a branch of the Puppet Theater has appeared in the Ivanovo College of Culture. In 2012, five of his graduates joined the troupe. At the same time, a new course was set up.

The Puppet Theater takes an active part in international festivals. He visited India, Belarus, Poland, Serbia, Austria, Ukraine, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania.

The theater has its own emblem. It depicts the actor and his doll riding on the wheel. This is also a symbol of wandering, as the troupe did not have its own building for a long time, and also the creative movement forward.

Among the participants was the legendary Central Puppet Theater named after SV Obraztsov.

Director of the theater

Ivanovo Regional Puppet Theater since 2008 lives under the strict guidance of the director Sergei Riegert. He was born in 1969. His mother is Ekaterina Petrovna Pirogova, the founder of the puppet theater, whose director he is.

In 1988, Sergei graduated from the motor transport college in the city of Ivanovo. After that, four years he served in the Russian troops, then located in Germany. From 1992 to 2008 he was the creator and leader of several organizations, including the free reference service "Infocenter" and the business magazine "Director". In 2008 he was appointed director of the Puppet Theater. In 2012 he received a directorial-producer education at the St. Petersburg University of Culture and Arts under the postgraduate retraining program.

Sergei Rigert was awarded thanks from the head of Ivanovo, as well as from the Department of Culture, from the city Duma, from the center of youth policy and from the governor of the region for conscientious work and great contribution to the development of theatrical art.

"Children's album" Tchaikovsky "

The Ivanovo Puppet Theater offered its audience an experimental musical performance. It is intended for spectators from 6 years.

He is called " Tchaikovsky 's Children's Album. " The performance numbers are based on the works of Pyotr Ilyich, an attempt to decipher the music of the great composer.

The production uses tablet dolls, elements of the shadow theater, live drawing and many other interesting solutions.
