Many famous works were written by the famous Russian writer ISTurgenev, "The Noble's Nest" is one of the best.

In the novel "The Noble Nest" Turgenev describes the customs and customs of the life of the Russian nobility, his interests and hobbies.

The protagonist of the work - nobleman Lavretsky Fedor Ivanovich - was brought up in the family of his aunt Glafira. Fedor's mother - a former maid - died when the boy was very young. My father lived abroad. When Fyodor was twelve years old, his father returned home and was engaged in the upbringing of his son.

The novel "The Noble Nest", the short content of the work, gives us an opportunity to find out what kind of home education and upbringing children received in noble families. Fedor was taught many sciences. His upbringing was severe: early in the morning he was woken up, poured cold water, fed once a day, taught to ride a horse and shoot. When his father died, Lavretsky goes to study in Moscow. He was then 23 years old.

During one of the theater's visits, Fyodor saw in the bed a beautiful girl - Varvara Pavlovna Korobyn. A friend introduces him to the beautiful family. Varenka was clever, sweet, educated.

Studying at the university was abandoned because of the marriage of Fyodor to Varvara. Young couple move to St. Petersburg. There they are born and soon a son dies. On the advice of the doctor Lavretsky go to live in Paris. Soon the enterprising Varvara becomes the mistress of the popular salon and gets into an affair with one of her visitors. Learning about the betrayal of his wife, accidentally reading the love note of her chosen one, Lavretsky breaks off all her relations with her and returns to her estate.

One day he visited a cousin, Kalitina Maria Dmitrievna, who lives with her two daughters - Lisa and Lena. The elder - pious Lisa - was interested in Fyodor, and soon he realized that his feelings for this girl were serious. Liza had an admirer, a certain Panshin, whom she did not like, but on the advice of her mother did not repel.

In one of the French magazines Lavretsky read that his wife had died. Fedor speaks to Liza in love and learns that his love is mutual.

The happiness of the young man was boundless. Finally he met the girl of his dreams: tender, charming and also serious. But when he returned home, alive and safe Varvara was waiting for him in the foyer. She tearfully begged her husband to forgive her, at least for the sake of their daughter Ada. Scandalously known in Paris, the beautiful Varenka was in great need of money, since her salon no longer gave her the necessary income for a luxurious life.

Lavretzky appoints her the annual maintenance and permits to settle in his estate, but refuses to live with her. Smart and resourceful Varvara talked to Lisa and persuaded the devout and meek girl to abandon Fedor. Lisa convinces Lavretsky not to leave his family. He settles his family in his estate, and he himself leaves for Moscow.

Deeply disappointed in her unfulfilled hopes, Lisa breaks all relations with the secular world and goes to the monastery to find there the meaning of life in suffering and prayers. Lavretsky visits her in a monastery, but the girl did not even look at him. Her feelings were given only by the trembling eyelashes.

And Varenka again went to St. Petersburg, and then - to Paris, to continue there cheerful and carefree life. "The Noble's Nest", the brief content of the novel reminds us how much space in the person's soul is occupied by his feelings, especially love.

Eight years later, Lavretsky visited a house where he had once met Lisa. Fedor again plunged into the atmosphere of the past - the same garden outside the window, the same grand piano in the living room. After returning home, he lived a long time with sad memories of his unfulfilled love.
