International Day of Older Persons

In the life of each person comes the age, which is called the elderly, there are many interesting things in it, but most importantly - a lot of free time, thanks to which you can realize something that previously was not enough time. By the decision of the UN General Assembly on October 1, the whole world celebrates the Day of Older Persons.

Initially, it began to celebrate in Europe, and in the late 90's - already around the world. This holiday already has its own traditions. For example, in the Scandinavian countries this holiday is one of the most ambitious, there are especially honored those who worked tirelessly in previous years, and now is on vacation.

On the Day of Older Persons, in the media, especially on television, there are programs and films that people of old age love.
