International airlines of Ukraine: main features

"UIA", or "International Airlines of Ukraine" is the most famous and large Ukrainian airline, founded in 1992 as a joint stock company of a closed type. To date, it is one of the leaders of air transportation in this market. The share of the airline "International Airlines of Ukraine" is estimated by experts as exceeding 30%. It should also be noted that this carrier was the first in the CIS to receive an international IOSA certificate and was included in the IATA registry.

Route network

Air park and staff

The air fleet of this carrier includes thirty-four aircraft of the Boeing type (in various configurations), as well as five narrow-bodied twin-engine aircraft of the Embraer model. All of them pass mandatory quality and reliability tests every year. Similarly, members of the crews of all aircraft are constantly sent to refresher courses.

In addition, the airline "UIA" has a special certificate JAR-145. This document allows the air carrier to perform any kind of technical works aimed at servicing the Boeing boards. Thanks to this, the employees of UIA have the right to repair both their fleet of aircraft and other companies' aircraft.
