If the monitor is flashing

Although the manufacturers of components for computer systems tend to ensure reliable operation of their products, sometimes there are situations when the equipment begins to behave "somehow wrong". The next possible cause is a video card malfunction. It is possible that its cooling system due to pollution has become ineffective to work - hence the overheating and abnormal operation. Also, many still remember the "illness" of some NVidia chips, which had a defect in soldering and eventually began to malfunction. It is possible that the video adapter has become unusable processor or memory. It is necessary to verify the performance with another video card.

But if the monitor flashes when turned on, then this can indicate a complex breakdown. Here is the list of the most common:

- the resource of backlight lamps in a liquid crystal display device is developed. Only replacement. Alas, usually work is more expensive than new spare parts, so you need to find generous masters;

- capacitors flowed in the power supply. A replacement is necessary;

- damage in the matrix itself. One of the most difficult breakages.

Independently trying to determine the cause, you need not forget about the software component. Incorrect mode, failed scan frequency setting, driver error - all this can affect the monitor in the most unpredictable way.
