How to quickly teach a child to read?

As a rule, children who do not know how to read are not accepted into a good school. The child can begin to teach reading in kindergarten, but, more often than not, such classes begin only in older groups and are not systematic. In addition, the process of teaching reading in kindergarten is usually perceived by the child as a boring compulsory lesson. A regular kindergarten will not be able to inculcate a love for reading. If you do not have the opportunity to send your child to an elite kindergarten or to special development courses for preschoolers, you will have to teach your child to form letters from words. How can you teach a child to read?

There are many methods of teaching reading. Nowadays there are various cubes with letters, different versions of the magnetic alphabet and colorful letters. All this will help the child to master this difficult skill the way you and your grandmothers mastered it. First, the kid has to learn the letters, drawing on the pictures in a letter or on a dice. When he remembers how each letter of the alphabet sounds, he is taught to make syllables. And only then he begins to read the words, realizing the meaning of a certain sequence of letters. This method was used by more than one generation, but it is rather complicated for the baby. The difficulty is not to learn the letters, but to learn how to turn soulless sounds into meaningful words. The kid can stubbornly not understand how, by reading the letters "m", "a", "m" and "a" in succession, you got his beloved mother.

Specialists have developed a faster method of teaching a toddler reading.

All parents independently decide how to properly teach to read a child, relying on their experience and experience of their friends. Therefore, not all are ready to adopt fundamentally new ways of teaching reading. However, it is much faster to teach a child to read, if to start from the opposite: without studying the letters, go to words.

We learn to read from the diapers using a new method. Showing the baby whole small words, we read them whole, leading the finger of the little girl in letters. We begin with the words "Au" and "Ua", singing each letter in a long gesture. Then we move on to more complex ones: "Ah", "Ha", "Am", "Ma". The main thing is to start getting acquainted with the word, long uttering each sound in a sing-song manner, and then with each time to reduce the sound. As a result, you must read this word quickly and clearly, so that the kid clearly understands what is at stake. Fingers of the child should act on the principle of a piano: let it together with you utter a sound, pressing it with a finger. Do not pronounce the sound without this pressing: so the kid will quickly remember how each letter sounds. After these small words, you need to teach the child to read the real three-letter words: "Mal", "Mac", "Soap", "Juice", "Son", "Dream" and so on. Then everything will be much easier. Gradually, the kid learns all Russian letters - you do not need to rush things. But he will understand well what the process of reading is.

With this method you can teach the child to read in 2-3 years. However, if your baby does not show interest in reading, do not insist. All the youngsters develop their own way. Perhaps your child is too early to get acquainted with the books, and you can just wait another two to three years. Do not teach the child to read by force. Reading should be for him an interesting game in which he participates with his mother. Do not tire the child. Many children's psychologists believe that most children are ready to read only in 6-7 years, and at an earlier age it seems too complicated for them.

Not all adults like to read. Perhaps this is due to the fact that since childhood they have not been able to instill a love for this process. And perhaps they are just closer to calculations and calculations. So do not worry if your child does not show a tendency to read. To each his own. Love your child for who he is, and do not seek to make him a child prodigy.
