How to organize the analysis of product quality in the enterprise?

In our country there are a number of state standards, according to which it is necessary to organize an analysis of the quality of products in the enterprise. The term "products" of GOST R 9000-2008 is deciphered, as a result of a process that converts inputs to outputs. In accordance with GOST R 9001-2008, they are subject to quantification, and product characteristics should be measured and monitored. That is, each organization must conduct its acceptance before sending the product to the consumer and confirm its suitability for use. GOST 15.309-98 states that these requirements apply to all national economic products, except for vessels or other species for which special requirements have been established. That is, the analysis of product quality involves carrying out its measurements and tests in the amount established by the regulatory and technical document for a specific type of product (GOST, OST, TU and others) or contract (contract) for its supply.

Analysis of product quality is carried out on parties. They must be identifiable in the process and production processes and in the quality control process by the product name, lot number, date of manufacture or release. These data should ensure full traceability of products from the time of receipt of raw materials, quality control of raw materials, technological parameters in manufacturing, all production and logistics operations to which it was subjected throughout the life cycle, as well as data on personnel involved in manufacturing and quality control. These requirements follow from the standard GOST R 9001-2008, which refers to the need for a process approach to improve customer satisfaction.

At the stage of issuance, an analysis of the quality of products is carried out, which is called acceptance. It is divided into two categories of tests: acceptance and periodic. The set of tests carried out and the document on the quality of products documented on their results, confirming its conformity, are for the consumer a guarantee that the product does not deviate from the established requirements. Acceptance tests are carried out on each lot, periodic - with the frequency provided for in documents that establish requirements for a particular type of product. All test results should be identified by the name of the parameter and test method, traceable to the type of measuring equipment and the characteristics of the materials used for the tests.

Since all production stages work according to the current technological regulations or other normative documents, the requirements ensuring the conformity of products (the quality of raw materials and materials, technological parameters of manufacturing, packaging, storage and transportation, up to delivery to the consumer) must be met. Therefore, to verify the purchased raw materials and materials, an input quality control is carried out in accordance with GOST 24297-87 and approved plans or schedules of incoming inspection. Unlike acceptance control, raw materials can be tested not for all quality indicators, but only for those that comply with the requirements for which it is necessary, since it affects the quality of the final product, ensures the safety of production or compliance with rules and regulations on labor protection.

Requirements for products, as well as the requirements for measurements and tests, which are used to analyze product quality, are set in the product standard. Tests should be conducted by competent personnel. The results obtained are confirmed by a personal signature. The validity of the results is ensured by the existing quality management system of the laboratory or the relevant technical service.
