How to make paper balls from your hands?

Balls made of paper can become not only a creative toy, but also a magnificent budget decor. They can be used one at a time or make whole garlands. We offer you some ideas for crafts. The instructions and diagram of the ball of paper are attached to each option.

What will be needed to make paper balls?

To make a ball of paper with your own hands, you do not need special materials and tools. To do this, it is enough to have a sheet of paper. You can use any loose format: a landscape sheet, colored paper, packaging, and so on.

As additional materials, you may need a pair of scissors, a needle with a thread, glue or a double-sided adhesive tape.

To make such an original garland, special efforts will not be required. It is enough only a little perseverance.

Instructions on how to make balls from paper:

1. Take a rectangular piece of paper (picture 1).
2. Draw rectangular lines using a pencil and ruler (picture 2).
3. Then, in the middle of the leaf, perpendicular to the drawn lines, draw another zigzag pattern (picture 2).
4. At the edges of the rectangle, between all the lines drawn, make holes using a conventional needle (picture 3).
5. Fold the rectangle over the drawn lines in the accordion (picture 4).
6. Turn the sheet backwards and bend it along a zigzag line (picture 6).
7. Now, gently make folds inward and outward on those lines that intersect the zigzag pattern (Figures 6 and 7). This requires patience. As a result, you should get a strip of paper, as in the picture 8.
8. Pass through the holes made in point 4, the needle and thread (picture 9).
9. Connect the thread and glue the ends of the paper with adhesive glue (picture 10).

One volumetric ball of paper is ready. Similarly, make a few more balls and put them in a garland.

Magic ball of paper

It will be more difficult to make such a magical paper ball. But the result of your work will be simply delicious! Therefore, the time and effort are worth it.

So, the instruction how to make balls from a paper:

1. Take a rectangular sheet of paper. The aspect ratio should be approximately 1: 2.
2. Fold it in half in length.
3. Then expand the sheet. You will have a long fold in the middle.
4. Make a few bends on both sides of the center. Their number from above and from below should be the same, as well as their size. The more the number of folds, the more beautiful the ball will be as a result.
5. Align the sheet.
6. Fold it in half to get another fold, which will be perpendicular to the existing ones.
7. Reinstate the sheet and make several more of the same perpendicular folds, just as you did in step 4.
8. Align the sheet and flip to the back. Thus, the folds will be below you.
9. Put the sheet in length. Take a pencil or pen and draw crosses (X) in height in two lines of long folds. The center of the cross must be on the line of the perpendicular fold. Thus, your cross will occupy four cells. Every next one must touch the previous one upper and one lower corner.
10. Fill the entire bottom of the leaf with crosses.
11. Draw the second row above the first, start it should be, retreating to one cage. The third row should begin where the first one. Fill the sheet with rows of crosses to the end, not forgetting to alternate the indentation.
12. Start bending the sheet on the crosses from the first row. Folds must be alternately first left, then right. For convenience, you can take a ruler.
13. Do exactly the same with the other rows of crosses.
14. When all the folds are ready, you can start assembling.

Assembling a magic ball of paper

To assemble a paper ball, you need to complete the following items:

1. Put a sheet of paper crosses up.
2. Take the leaf and start bending the cross over the bends in the middle.
3. So do with each of them all over the piece of paper.
4. As a result, you will get the original accordion.
5. Rows at the edges of the sheet bend inwards.
6. Take the glue and smudge the edges.
7. Glue the edges of the sheet together.

The magic ball is ready!

Flower Ball

Instructions on how to make paper balls in this style:

1. Take a sheet of paper in a square shape.
2. Connect the opposite corners so that the triangle is formed (picture 1).
3. Connect the two lower corners to the upper one (picture 2).
4. Unbend the right triangle (picture 3). You will see that there is a fold line that visually divides the angle into two parts (picture 4).
5. Fold the bottom triangle, as in picture 5.
6. Bend the edge. As a result, you should get it as shown in the picture 6.
7. Turn a small triangle under one layer of paper (picture 7).
8. "Tail" from the two triangles bend at the sides (picture 8).
9. Insert the triangles into the pocket closest to them (picture 9).
10. Five of these modules need to be glued together. In figure 10, the location of the glue application is conventionally indicated.
11. Glue all five molds together with the corners of the petals (picture 11).
12. When you connect all the modules, do not forget to stick the shoelace if you plan to hang the ball.

Air balloon made of paper

To create such an inflatable ball, do the following:

1. Take a square sheet of paper.
2. We bend its opposite angles, two pairs.
3. You get two visual lines of folds that intersect in the middle.
4. Now take the sheet and make a triangle out of it. To do this, bend the sheet again, making a perpendicular line with respect to one of the existing ones. Fold the sheet.
5. Fold the two corners of one of the triangles to the third.
6. Repeat the same with the other side.
7. Now you have a rhombus. Turn it one of the tops upward.
8. Fold the two diamond tops to the middle, where you already have a join of two angles of the triangle.
9. Do the same with the other side of the rhombus.
10. Press down on one of the turned vertices.
11. Throw in it one corner of the resulting figure.
12. Do the same with the neighboring corner.
13. Turn over the figure and repeat steps 11 and 12.
14. Now turn what has turned out, in the middle to yourself. There was a hole through which you can inflate the ball.

Advice

A few tips on how to make paper balls are easy and simple:

1. It is most convenient to use glue-pencil to join the edges of the paper. With it, the paper will quickly stick together, and no excess glue will be visible.
2. In order to make folds, use an ordinary ruler.
3. For the balls to be truly original, take the wrapping paper.
4. For decor of products use beads, beads and small accessories.
5. Do not use cardboard, since the sheet needs to be bent several times. With cardboard this will not work.
