How to make a ladybug (applique)?

If you need to make a ladybird (applique) with a child at home or in an organized group, study several possible options and choose the one suitable for the level of complexity and speed of manufacturing. Children will be happy to make this lovely insect with their own hands at home or in the garden.

Simple application

If you are engaged in artistic creativity with a young child and want to perform a ladybug with him, it is better to assemble the applique on a ready-made template. Work like this:

  1. Find a picture with a ladybug that you can use as a template.
  2. Print out the image and cut it into separate elements or make patterns from cardboard.
  3. Circle each part along the contour, placing a corresponding color on the sheet of colored paper.
  4. If your baby is too small to draw on the stencil and cut the blanks, follow the previous steps yourself, and instruct the child to stick the elements on the sheet. Explain that you first need to take the trunk and head, then - the wings and in the last turn - small circles-specks.

Applique ladybird (middle group)

To work, you need large sheets of green, which will be used as a basis (grass), black and red paper. The task is executed as follows:

  1. Cut out two circles from a black paper on a stencil: one for the trunk, the other for the head.
  2. Make two circles of red leaves for the wings.
  3. Cut out or perform with the puncher a lot of black dot circles.
  4. Stick a circle of the trunk on the basis of colored paper, attach the head part on top of the overlap.
  5. Bend the red circles in half and glue both parts symmetrically on the trunk so that the effect of the opening flaps is obtained.
  6. Glue the black spots on the outer side of the red semicircles.

The craft can be supplemented with the application of leaf, flower, grass.

Volume application of paper "Ladybug"

For this craft paper red paper will need a little more, since it is from it will be formed three-dimensional object. The sequence of execution is:

  1. Cut two black circles for the torso and a smaller one for the head.
  2. Cut a few red circles. Fold each piece in half color side inward.
  3. Glue the red circles together in sequence.
  4. Glue the free half of the left part and the right side to the body of the trunk.
  5. Cut a lot of small circles and paste the specks on the red wings, although this step can be performed before gluing the red circles into a three-dimensional part.
  6. Glue the resulting ladybug on the base sheet.
  7. If you want, add some details in the form of grass, flowers, sun.

Applique from felt

A beautiful and simple ladybird (applique) is easy to carry out not only from paper, but also from fabric, and it is even more convenient to use felt. It is bright, and most importantly, does not require the processing of slices. The work proceeds as follows:

  1. Find or draw a contour image of a ladybug on your own and prepare the stencils of the constituent elements. If you make an insect simplistically, in the form of geometric figures, then it is enough to cut out from the cardboard circles of different diameters for the trunk, head and spots.
  2. Attach the resulting blanks to a felt of the appropriate color.
  3. Circle the parts along the contour and cut out all the parts in the right amount.
  4. Take the base and glue or sew on her head, then - the trunk, and on the top - specks.
  5. Make small details: antennae, paws, eyes. They are easy to paste.

So, make a ladybug (applique) in several ways. It's easy and fun. Take the child's creativity. Make different versions of products.
