How to equip the feeder? Coil for the feeder. Mounting the feeder

Among the lovers of fishing for some reason it is considered that the feeder is very difficult to master, that it is an expensive tackle, which requires a lot of incomprehensible accessories. Of course, all these judgments from banal ignorance. It is enough to buy the rod and a couple of feeders for it. And, of course, you need to know how to equip the feeder. This tire is really specific, but not particularly complicated. It is she who gives excellent catches where other fishing rods and spinnings are useless.

Rods for feeder

Many novice anglers often ask the question, which rod is better? Here you need to know that there are only three weight categories:

- Lungs (up to 40 g);

- medium (up to 100 g);

- heavy (more than 100 g).

Of course, these values do not indicate the mass of the rod itself. These numbers indicate which maximum weight can be used in the rigging for sinkers (or feeders). Now it is customary to call categories in the European manner, that is, light, medium and heavy.

So, light rods, or light feeders, are used for fishing without the use of feeders. More often they are called pickers. In their rigging is put an ordinary small sinker. In this variant of fishing, the lure is delivered to the casting site with a simple slingshot. You also need to know how to properly equip a feeder of this type in order to achieve maximum results. Also important is the place of fishing. The picker is used exclusively in standing ponds. You can cast them from the boat at short distances. Medium rods have a much wider range of applications. They can be attached to small feeders. This rod perfectly copes with casts from the shore, but on standing ponds or with a weak current. Heavy rods, or heavy, have a weak sensitivity. They are uncomfortable on small bodies of water. But it is they that allow you to do long casts with the feeder. Rods of this class are almost always used on rivers.

Why is there such a difference? The thing is that fishing on the feeder is very specific. In standing water reservoirs, the fish are cautious. Tackle should be sensitive to catch the slightest bites. On rivers with a strong current, the situation changes. The main thing here is that the rod can withstand the force of the current. In this case, the feeder, the fishing line, and the coil should be powerful. Otherwise, the fish will have to be caught by the principle where the hook will carry the flow.

Feeder rod structure

In addition to the class, the feeder rod also distinguishes the system. Its main part is stiff. It is necessary to withstand heavy loads when casting. The tip of the rod, on the contrary, is flexible and thin. Its main function is fixation of bites. During casting, its value is minimal and insignificant. Virtually all middle-class fishing rods have removable tops. This tackle is universal and has a wide range of applications. Removable tops are only three. They differ in varying degrees of rigidity, denoted in ounces. For example, in standing water a vertex is set to 1 oz, and if a feeder is used on the current, it is more accurate to use with a value of 2 oz or 3 oz.

Coil for feeder tackle

There are no special requirements for coils. It is better to use a non-inertial version. The most important thing is that she has a soft clutch. When fishing large fish the most effective method is pumping. At the same time, the load almost completely falls on the rod. A finely tuned friction coil tracks sharp jerks of the fish, giving the line. The feeder coil should also be equipped with a capacious spool.

A line or cord?

About fishing lines it is necessary to tell more in detail. There are specific features here. For casting in standing water at a distance not exceeding 30 meters, a monofilament fishing line is quite suitable . The diameter is taken up to 0.35 mm. For a greater distance you need a braided cord. This is a small feature of how to correctly equip the feeder on the rivers. On such water bodies with a pronounced flow, the cord has a number of advantages. It is more durable and does not stretch unlike the monofilament line. In addition, a cord with a diameter of 0.15 mm is sufficient for the feeder. It has a small sail, which makes it possible to use the flow of a light feeder. And this, when disarming, removes the load from the rod. The cord is almost not stretched, so any bite will be immediately fixed, which increases the chances of successful fishing.

Feeder feeders

Fishing for the feeder involves the use of feeders. Their main task is to deliver the feed mixture to the fishing site. Strict requirements for this gear are not presented. Hence their great diversity. They can have different sizes. They are made not only from metal, but also from silicone. The latter option is used on water without flow, especially where there is a small water vegetation. The thing is that when the silicone feeder is emptied, it emerges due to its low weight. When vyvazhivanii it is not necessary to drag along the bottom.

When fishing on rivers, the picture is different. Here we need mesh metal feeders that have weight. The shape can be different - square, triangular or rectangular. Its weight has to be chosen in relation to the strength of the current. The feeder should not be taken to the side after it is empty. This increases the chances of successful fishing.

Hooks for feeder

In the feeder hooks hooks are used more durable than for a float fishing rod. Their forearm should be slightly bent to the side, then it is more likely that the fish will self-crop. It is quite justified to use hooks of the size 10-14 type "Karp". To produce them take a thicker wire. This option is more reliable and stronger. It is also important how to catch the feeder? What bait? If on fishing, animal baits are used, the hooks are taken with a long forearm, and under the plant - bait with a short bait. But if you use big hooks for the feeder, you can say goodbye to the desired catch.

Leashes

The installation of the feeder includes the presence of leashes. They are made of 0.14 mm diameter wood. The length of the leash can be different. This is at the discretion of the fisherman. It varies from 20 to 100 cm. For a beginner, 50 cm is enough. You can further experiment by focusing on the current and the type of fish you are hunting for.

How to equip the feeder? Silent accessories

The success of fishing on the feeder largely depends on how imperceptibly and ordinarily the bait will be given to the fish. And this is determined by properly selected rigging. If the installation is carried out correctly, the chances of returning home with a mass of positive impressions and the catch will increase at times.

So, how to equip the feeder? Very many prefer a deaf snap. This method is very simple. He is particularly popular among carpets. With this installation, the sinker takes the swivel type. Mounting can be done one-sided and two-sided. Both options have their own characteristics.

If the leash is attached below the sinker, then the circuit is approximately the same. The main line is mounted to the double-sided load on the first side. It is tied to a swivel by a strong knot. On the other hand, a leash is attached to the sinker. What is the difference between this fastening? First of all, instantaneous tension when biting. This means that the resistance of the cargo will be felt immediately by the fish. This fastening is perfect for catching active and fearless large fish. It is used in carp gear. But for fishing for small and cautious fish, a blind rig is not suitable, because its sensitivity is too low.

Another option for rigging when the leash is attached above the weights is more efficient and, in addition, allows for a small upgrade. This method is also designed for self-clipping fish. But only in this case the fisherman will first feel the brace and the need to cut the fish, and then she will test the resistance of the sinker.

Sliding accessories

There are several ways to equip the feeder. In addition to the deaf, there is also a sliding rig. Its feature is that the sinker is not fixed at one particular point, but freely slides along the line. Such mounting is very sensitive. Each insignificant bite is clearly visible. At the same time, the fish that picked up the bait practically does not feel the resistance of the load. This type of installation can be of two types.

The first type of fastening is done so that the line passes through the through hole in the weights. The second option involves the use of a swivel load. Here it is necessary to tell more in detail. In the second case, the line is stretched through the swivel, to which the load is directly attached. This method is convenient because the sinker can be removed at any time and replaced with another one.

For the sake of justice, it should be noted that both methods of rigging show good results. Naturally, while this installation must be done correctly. Sliding rig works well only in those waters where there is an even sandy or pebbled bottom. Underwater vegetation, rocks and debris can fix the sinker. In this case, the sliding rig will lose all its advantages.

Feed loop

In the feeder tackle, a symmetrical and asymmetrical loop is used. Also, there is a special way to bind the cord to a snap - paternoster. Advantages of this method is that after fishing it can simply be cut off, and next time catch on the fresh part of the cord. Also, such fastening is practical in that any bite is immediately reflected on the tip of the rod. So it's impossible to miss it. But the tip of the rod should not be too soft or hard.

The paternoster is performed as follows. First make a loop for the leash. It is carried out on the main line. The method is a "surgical loop". If a braid is used in the tackle, then it is fastened 4 turns so that the knot does not slip and untie. From the first loop we indent the length into the palm and knit the second for the feeder in the same way. Everything, editing is ready.
