How to cure hemorrhoids?

Many people around the world suffer from an unpleasant and delicate disease - hemorrhoids. Most people, if faced with a problem, postpone the trip to the proctologist in the long box because of their embarrassment. But the disease must be treated, otherwise it develops, delivering more and more discomfort.

The development of the disease goes through four stages. If the disease is in the first stage, then the treatment of hemorrhoids can be done at home. But in this case, it is worthwhile to visit a doctor for advice.

How to cure hemorrhoids with folk remedies?

Traditional medicine offers many recipes for the treatment of hemorrhoids:

  • Compresses;
  • Ointments;
  • Candles;
  • Ingestion of herbs and vegetable juices;
  • Microclysters and other methods.

You can treat hemorrhoids at home if the disease is in 1-2 stages. For external and internal hemorrhoids the methods of treatment differ. In the first case, compresses, ointments and lotions are more effective, and in the second case - suppositories, rectal tampons and microclysters.

Medications

Drug medications are prescribed by a doctor, although there are medicines that can be bought in a pharmacy without a prescription. Hemorrhoids are treated with suppositories, ointments and gels (Proctosan, Relief and so on). Mostly, local treatment is used. In some cases, treatment can be supplemented with drugs that stimulate blood flow in the anus or, conversely, slow it down in the event of frequent bleeding. For severe pain, a painkiller is prescribed, for example, injections of novocaine.

Minimally invasive methods

Hemorrhoidal nodes of 2-3 degrees in most cases can not be treated with medicines or folk remedies. They can be removed with the help of minimally invasive methods:

  • Electrocoagulation;
  • Infrared coagulation;
  • Ligation by latex rings;
  • Desarterization;
  • Sclerotherapy.

Due to the cessation of blood flow in the hemorrhoids after a while, they fall off and go out. The blood flow is stopped mechanically, for example by latex rings, or by the administration of a special preparation. Also, the nodes are destroyed by the laser beam. The procedures are performed out-patiently and painlessly. The patient does not even need to take a sick leave, as the next day he can go to work.

Surgical intervention

If the disease has reached the fourth stage, then the problem can only be solved by surgery. During surgery, hemorrhoidal nodes are removed, but this does not guarantee that in the future the disease will not be felt again.

To reduce the risk of recurrence of hemorrhoids, you must carefully monitor their diet and lead an active lifestyle. Do not self-medicate, as this can lead to complications.
