How can you do at home a suit "Scream"

Of course, many watched the once popular youth thriller "Scream". Everyone remembers the awesome image of the protagonist. This outfit will be very relevant for Halloween. The costume of "Scream" with its exotic mask will surprise and frighten the surrounding people at the carnival event. This holiday dress can be bought at the store or rented. And if you have the time, you better make it yourself. The creation of such an image is both a saving of money and a creative process. So, let's get started.

Costume "Scream": description of work

You will need:

- clay;

- scissors;

- plastic cups (two pieces);

Before we begin to make a suit, we will draw a sketch of the mask of the main hero-maniac. If you do not remember what the mask looks like, then watch the movie. Or we recommend using our sketch. We take paper and a pencil. We start drawing from the oval and draw lines in it obliquely (it will be needed to designate the eyes, jaw and nose). Then draw the eyes. Note! Draw so that it turns out on the sketch sad expression of the eyes. Next, we draw a nose and a slightly elongated mouth. The sketch is ready. Let's start modeling the mask. How to make a costume "Scream" and a mask

So, we put plasticine on top of the prepared sketch. We mold the volumetric form. Then take a regular bandage and cut it with strips of thirty centimeters. We put them on the plasticine form. Next, take a building gun with silicone. We extrude a layer three millimeters thick on the bandages. We put on gloves and carefully level the silicone. Wait until completely dry and apply another layer. We leave the mask. Dry and weather it.

While we prepare for the decoration. Pour a little paint into the cups and squeeze out the same silicone. We take a brush. Paint the eyes and mouth with black, and make red eyes. As if on a mask of a drop of blood, so that the suit of "Scream" was even more frightening.

When the mask dries, remove it from the plasticine form. With a knife we make slits for the eyes. The mask can have an unpleasant odor, since it is made of silicone. To get rid of it, put the product in a soapy solution for a day. And again, dry it. To keep the mask well, sew a thread with a needle elastic bandage in the attachment points (independently mark them).

Take the material and sew a cloak with a hood. Matter choose a rectangular shape. In the middle, make a cutout for the head so that the costume looks more realistic. Make cuts on the edges of the cloak. The suit "Scream", made with your own hands, is ready! Try on it quickly and hurry up for the holiday.
