Very near is the famous royal beach, famous for its white sand. The resort town is surrounded by mixed forests, turning this place into a cozy oasis, fenced from the whole world with its problems.

The territory of the complex has a well-developed infrastructure. There are children's entertainment centers, bars, restaurants, swimming pools and many other amenities that make recreation a real holiday.

The whole village consists of four-story cottages with different apartments, many of which have a beautiful view of the sea. The resort is surrounded by greenery. The architecture of the buildings is made in the style of the Bulgarian Renaissance of the nineteenth century. The town was built in such a way that seventy percent of its territory remained under greenery and park alleys. The best place for a relaxing holiday just can not find.

It consists of eighty villas and cottages (two- and three-storeyed), which are built along the Black Sea coast. Outwardly the resort resembles an ordinary Bulgarian village on the shore of the Sozopol Bay.

Hotel Features

Santa Marina Holiday Village is a town that lives its own resort life. On its territory it is possible to rent not only apartments with several rooms, but also whole attics. The interiors of all apartments perfectly fit into the general atmosphere of this resort: the walls are painted in sand tones, natural wooden furniture in an inimitable country style, distinguished by unobtrusive but original accessories.

The layout of the apartments makes them very comfortable for everyday rest. They have kitchen units, washing machines, ironing facilities, and, of course, internet.

Number of rooms

As we already mentioned, Santa Marina Holiday Village is a large complex, and therefore the number of rooms is very diverse. It is not possible to describe all possible options within the framework of the article. Therefore, we will describe only some of the most popular apartments to give a general idea of this wonderful place:

  1. The studio has an area of about forty square meters and is designed to accommodate two guests. It consists of a bedroom and a living area, and also has a kitchenette. This type of apartment does not have an extra bed.
  2. Rooms with a bedroom and a living room have a large area (65 square meters). This apartment can comfortably accommodate two people.

The hotel room is very diverse, everyone can find the right option for themselves. All apartments of the complex are very spacious and well equipped, which creates an excellent atmosphere for a carefree holiday.

Hotel Infrastructure

Santa Marina Holiday Village is not an ordinary hotel, but rather a whole village with its well-established infrastructure. The complex has five swimming pools, three of which are adults, and two are children's. The reservoirs are lined with a cascade and are decorated with various illumination and all kinds of bridges.

The hotel has been hosting guests since 2006, during this time, a children's playground, places for volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis and tennis courts have appeared on its territory. Animators every day offer tourists classes aqua aerobics. For active holidaymakers, the hotel even has extreme attractions. Initially, the complex was opened SPA-center, for many years of its work the range of services has gradually expanded.

Overcome a large area of the hotel on foot not all can be under force, and therefore for tourists on it are launched electric vehicles. It is very convenient, especially for young children and people of age. A staircase leading to the sea, supplemented with an elevator, which makes the descent much faster and shorter.

The hotel is interesting because it has a huge green area. Around all drowning in the trees and bushes, many flower beds. Everything is very clean and tidy. It's nice to just walk along the alleys. I want to note that this huge territory has natural height differences, which is connected with the local landscape. Maybe someone will not like it.

"Santa Marina" - hotel with parking, although, probably, for our countrymen this point is not so important.

Bars and Restaurants

On the territory of Santa Marina Holiday Village 4 * there is a cafe "Sky", "Breeze", a bar "Joy" and a pizzeria. In these establishments, guests can have a snack and enjoy fine cocktails.

In the "Gallery" the chef will prepare the dish you ordered. The main restaurant of the resort is Apollonia. Every day this institution feeds tourists with delicious and hearty breakfasts, dinners and lunches. However, those holidaymakers who do not want or can not eat in public places can buy food in the supermarket on the territory of the complex and cook independently, since all rooms are equipped with their own mini-kitchens. Especially it is convenient for those families who come with small children.

Beach

Santa Marina Holiday Village (Sozopol) has its own small sandy beach with paid umbrellas and sun loungers. In addition, near is a fairly large beach area of the nearby campsite "Goldfish". There is a free zone on it, which can be visited by tourists from neighboring hotels. The entrance to the water on the whole coastline is gentle and comfortable, it is suitable for children. The water is clean, but not always calm, it's still the Black Sea. On the beaches there are locker rooms, a cafe, shower cabins.

Entertainment

There are many sports grounds in Santa Marina Holiday Village. Animators hotel perfectly cope with the organization of children's leisure. Young tourists are very happy. In addition, the complex has a children's playground, or rather, a few. In general, kids will always find employment.

But as for adult animation, then, according to tourists, it is not enough. However, you do not have to miss Santa Marina Holiday Village 4 * (Sozopol). In the evenings the resort is transformed beyond recognition, dressed in the lights of bright lanterns. In addition, the complex is located near Sozopol. You can get to the city in about twenty minutes on foot, or you can take a ride on transport. The whole road stretches along the sea, you can admire the beautiful scenery. And in Sozopol, tourists are waiting for numerous bars, restaurants, cafes and a lot of entertainment.

Local Attractions

While spending a vacation in the hotel, it is impossible not to visit Sozopol. This wonderful old town is filled with beautiful places in which you can make unique pictures for memory. It was founded in the sixth century BC by the brave Greek colonists on the rocky coast of the peninsula. In ancient times, the city was called Apollonia.

At present, this place has become a favorite among Bulgarian bohemians. Numerous musicians, artists, artists attracted here a very special atmosphere of the town. There really is something to see: beautiful old churches, white houses under red tiles, narrow cobblestone streets, stone lanes ... All this is buried in the greenery of figs and vineyards. And the unique sandy beaches and the beautiful harbor are the pride of Sozopol.

Once a year, the city hosts an arts festival dedicated to the god Apollo. At this time, Sozopol is filled with an artistic atmosphere. The festival lasts ten days. If you happen to be resting here at this time, then it's worth to wander around the city. Here you can see theatrical productions, photo exhibitions, artwork. The festival attracts foreign and Bulgarian artists, singers, actors, dancers and ordinary spectators.

The most interesting for tourists is the old part of the city, which is an architectural reserve and is under the protection of UNESCO. Particularly beautiful is the church of the times of the Bulgarian Renaissance, old houses, remains of fortress walls, restaurants of national cuisine with panoramic views of the sea coast.

Santa Marina Holiday Village: reviews

Concluding the conversation about the hotel, I want to turn to the impressions of tourists. According to tourists, the complex has a fairly convenient location. From the airport by bus the road does not take more than forty minutes. Of course, you can book a transfer at the hotel, but it is not particularly needed. It is quite possible to get by yourself.

Tourists are very pleased with the spacious and beautiful rooms of the hotel complex. A special delight is the presence of the kitchen. This is very convenient, because you can always cook something for the child, and for adults. There are several shops on site, so there are no problems with the products. At any time you can buy semi-finished products, a couple of minutes - and the dish is ready. Many holidaymakers buy a tour to the hotel only with breakfast, and for lunch and dinner eat in a cafe or cook their own. This option is the most convenient, because often do not want to leave the beach and easier to eat there. Or, going for a walk to Sozopol, you do not need to hurry to dinner. In this respect, everything is well thought out in the complex.

The hotel itself is of great interest. It really is huge. It takes two to three days to get around it and study it. There is much to see. "Santa Marina" is somewhat like a botanical garden. In its territory, a lot of plants from all over the world are gathered, which perfectly coexist here. There are a lot of beautiful flowers around.

The complex is so arranged that the rains are not terrible. The water very quickly comes off, even the puddles do not remain. Infrastructure is thought through to the smallest detail, you can not go out to live there for a couple of weeks and not even think about anything.

You can walk as far as Sozopol, or you can drive for two levs on a locomotive, which runs every half hour. The last voyage he makes at ten o'clock in the evening. After that, you can get there only by taxi (ten levs). Sozopol is a wonderful city, where you should take a walk and sit in the atmosphere of local cafes.

Children's resort

The hotel is a good place to relax with children. Here, the coast itself seems to be created for toddlers. In addition, the territory itself has many playgrounds. Not to mention that it is closed and protected. Entertainment is organized for children. Generally animators work well. Kids really like the local beach. They rush along the shore with nets and catch the local sea life. This process makes them particularly enthusiastic.

Service: feedback

Rooms maids cleaned every day. Towels are changed daily. The staff is friendly. The quality of cleaning is sometimes lame. Baby cots are provided free of charge.

As for the service in the hotel restaurants, not all guests are satisfied. Staff is slow and poor.

If you do not want to eat in a cafe, you can cook by yourself. Fruits, vegetables and meat here in stores are much cheaper than in Turkey. Also sold a lot of seafood: flounder, eels, stingrays, mussels, crabs, royal prawns.

The hotel organizes trips to local attractions. Certainly worth a visit to an ancient castle. In principle, all interesting and beautiful places can easily be reached by yourself, if you do not want group "races".

Instead of an afterword

Summarizing all of the above, I want to note that Santa Marina is a wonderful holiday complex. It can be safely recommended to tourists planning to spend their holidays in Bulgaria. A large beautiful area, spacious rooms, good infrastructure and beautiful landscapes - all this is the guarantee of a good holiday on the sea coast.
