What is the coat of arms and why is it needed?

The simplest definition of the coat of arms is written in the dictionary of Ozhegov. It says that the coat of arms is a kind of emblem of a state, city, class or clan. This emblem is depicted on flags, paper money and coins, seals, important government papers and documents. Every now existing state, city and region has its own coat of arms.

What is depicted on the arms?

To accurately describe what is depicted, you need to know that the coats of arms are divided into ranks. Typically depicted shchitoderzhateli, mottoes, mantle, crown, crest and helmet, namet, shield heraldic. But not all of these elements are mandatory displayed.

On the large coat of arms all the above-listed elements are depicted, on the average - only the main ones. On the small - a shield or crown with a shield.

The arms are divided not only by rank, but also by types:

  • Generic (peasant, noble, civil).

On the family arms, the symbol of the family or family is displayed, distinctive signs. The family symbol does not change for centuries, it is inherited. It unites generations through distances and times.

Russian Coat of Arms

On the main coat of arms of our country, as everybody knows, there is an eagle with two heads. He sits on the French shield (heraldic) of red color. In the paws of a bird a scepter, a power. Above each head is a small crown, and above both is a large one, connected by a ribbon. On the eagle's chest is a red shield, on which there is an image of a rider piercing a spear of a terrible dragon of black color.

Moscow coat of arms

The emblem of the main city of the country can be seen on the coat of arms of Russia. It is his image that is on the shield of the eagle. Who is this rider? In ancient times, after the Battle of Kulikovo, the coat of arms began to appear on the coat of arms, which kills the serpent with a spear. The people associated him with the ruler - the king. But foreign ambassadors saw in this rider St. George. No matter how our people argued, in the future Peter the Great himself agreed with this statement.

At all times with each ruler, the emblem also changed. Something was added to it. That coat of arms, which at the moment is the Moscow symbolism, was approved in 1993. We know him well. But do you know the arms of the Moscow districts? Each of them is interesting, different history of origin. Consider the most popular.

On the coat of arms of what area of Moscow is a dancing girl?

Now you will know the answer to this question. The coats of arms of the Moscow districts, like the rest, keep history and memory of the events of the past. So the girl symbolizes something long gone. These are folk festivals, the seventh Thursday from Easter (Semik). That's what the coat of arms resembles. Marina Grove is a district of Moscow, which is located in the Northeast District.

Its name was given to this area by a grove that remained from the cutting down of a large forest in the eighteenth century. The area itself is mentioned since the sixteenth century, but entered the city line officially only in the twentieth century, in 1917.

The history of which the coat of arms resembles is Maryina Roshcha, as it was in ancient times. On the shield of the Moscow form of golden color, there is a meadow with green grass. A girl in a red sarafan is dancing in this glade, a handkerchief of red color is held in one hand. Her head is decorated with a wreath of wild flowers. From the top edge of the shield "grow" branches, they form a circle, heading towards each other. On branches there is a bright green foliage.

Kuntsevo (Moscow)

Kuntsevo district in the nineteenth century began to be called a dacha district of the Moscow region. All the emblems of the districts of Moscow are distinguished by the liveliness and variety of colors, the symbol of this region was no exception. Once the Kuntsevo district belonged to the Setunsky camp, in which were dense, especially beautiful forests. Silver spruce, depicted on a green background, is a symbol of the very forests that used to be famous for the Kuntsevo district. Moscow still breathes clean fresh air of this region. This purity was depicted in blue at the top of the coat of arms.

On the territory of the district in ancient times, there was a postal route. Now on this place is located the street of Franco. The memory of the tract was preserved in a white horn (mail horn) depicted on the coat of arms. This horn can be seen in the upper triangle - a symbol of clean air. Also on the arms there is a yellow rafters. He was placed in the mention of the fact that once the Smolensk railway track was built here. Hemp gray reminded of the fate of the forests, which were cut to ensure that in their place built roads, deployed coal mining.

The name of the district is symbolized by the main character of the emblem - the golden marten. This little animal sits in the center of the image.

Tverskoy district of Moscow

This area is the heart of the capital, is in its central part. Its history began in the twelfth century, it is on its territory that the Kremlin is located. It is interesting that the Kremlin is not part of the Tver region, although it is located there, but is a separate territorial unit. Since this district is located in the very center, all innovations have come to Russia through it. Thus, it became the first place where trams and electric lighting appeared on the streets.

The coat of arms of the Tver region of Moscow looks like a shield of the Moscow form. The green triangle drawn at the bottom of the coat of arms is a symbol of a high hill. On this hill the monastery was erected. The red background is the color of the coat of arms of the city of Tver. With the Tverskaya road, the district is connected not only with the name, but also with a lot of events taking place there. Tverskaya Street and Tsvetnoy Boulevard are displayed on the coat of arms with two golden pillars, like the main thoroughfares in the area.

In the central part of the coat of arms is a wreath - a symbol of art. Also, this wreath reminds that all the main theaters, museums and exhibition halls of Moscow are located exactly in the Tver region. The anvil will recall the masters of the settlement of Kuznetsk, and a bright fire will hint to the youth that there are a lot of educational and cultural institutions in the Tver region.

Under the shield there passes a golden ribbon, on which is written "Tver". This is a truly full-fledged coat of arms, where the entire culture and memory of the district is displayed, it is only necessary to correctly interpret the symbols.

District Koptevo

The first mention of Koptevo is found in the charter of Prince Dmitry Shuisky. This document dates back to the ninety-fifth and ninety-sixth years of the sixteenth century. It deals with the replacement of the village of Toporkovo with the wasteland Koptevo in the village of Velyaminovo (currently Vladykino). As historians describe, Koptevo was a separate small village. The name has not changed since those ancient times. There is an area in the Northern District of the capital.

Like other emblems of the Moscow districts, the symbol of this region looks like a shield of the Moscow form. It is divided into two fields - blue and yellow. The yellow field is at the top. Koptevo's coat of arms is a picture of modern life, it does not see reminders of the past. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Koptevo was just a village, there were no particularly significant events there. On a yellow background the stork is depicted, the color of its plumage is natural. This bird symbolizes stable family relations, as well as kinship ties of many residents of the district and a fairly large number in the territory of pre-school, school and other educational institutions.

The sun with wavy rays is a symbol of cleanliness and well-being of the district, enlightenment of people.

Krylatskoe

Krylatskoye district is located in the western part of Moscow. Previously, it was known its other name - Krylletskoye. It was mentioned from the beginning of the fifteenth century, once Krylatskoe was in the possession of the first of the Romanov family.

The coat of arms of the Krylatskoe area is beautiful, like a picture from a fairy tale about Pinocchio. In the center of the coat of arms there is an image of a large golden key, he says that many residential buildings are being erected in Krylatskoye. Urban planning for the district is in the first place. Silver rafters in the form of zakomars (ornaments for the porch) serve as a reminder of the first name - Kryleckoe. The green field, which is depicted below, is the area's reserves, and the beating silver spring on it is a natural spring of holy water, a place of pilgrimage for many people.
