Hormonal pills Yarin. Side effects, indications, contraindications.

The company Schering AG developed the formula of the progestogen component for modern oral contraceptives - drospirenone. The innovative tool was called Yarin - by the name of the girl chosen by the "face" of this brand. The contraceptive has huge advantages in comparison with traditional preparations.

Yarina - hormone tablets. This oral contraceptive is a modern means for protecting a woman from unwanted pregnancy. Yarina is a hormonal, low-dose monophasic preparation for contraception. Its effect is due to the processes of inhibition of ovulation.

When taking the drug Yarin, the side effects of which are minimal, a woman can choose the most favorable timing of conception of the child.

Mechanism of action

The composition of this drug includes two components: drospirinone (3 mg) and ethinyl estradiol (30 mg), these substances are synthetic versions of hormones - estrogen and progesterone.

Yarina, whose side effects are almost not observed, has an effect on the woman's menstrual cycle. As you know, the level of sex hormones varies during the menstrual cycle. When the egg leaves the ovary, ovulation occurs, the endometrium layer of the uterus is prepared for the introduction of the sperm. If the egg is not fertilized, the hormonal level decreases. Then the whole cycle repeats. Taking contraceptives makes the body behave as if ovulation has already occurred.

A remarkable feature of drospirenone is the prevention of fluid retention in the body, so when taking Yarina there is no increase in weight.

Menstruation gradually becomes less painful, their duration decreases. A beneficial effect on the skin helps reduce acne.

Tablets are taken within 21 days from the first day of menstruation, daily. Next, you should take a break for 7 days. At this time, menstrual bleeding occurs. Then repeat the reception of the contraceptive.
