Heroization of Nazism - what is it? What is dangerous Nazism? The struggle against the heroism of Nazism

Heroization of Nazism ... Where to start? Perhaps, from the words of Leo Tolstoy, who claimed that our life is insane, completely crazy and crazy. And it's not just beautiful words, figurative comparison or even exaggeration, but the simplest statement of what is ... Well, many years have passed since the great Russian writer, but, unfortunately, nothing has changed, and a vivid example serves as Once such a phenomenon as the heroization of Nazism - a modern form of insanity.

Nazism

So, the heroization of Nazism - what is it and, as they say, with what it is eaten? To begin with, it is necessary to dwell in detail on the very term "Nazism". According to an excerpt from the Large Legal Dictionary edited by A.Ya. Sukharev, the very word "born" from the name of the National Socialist Party of Germany, but later "expanded", went beyond the simple, rarely used lexical unit and went down in history as the name "ideology and practice of the Hitler regime in Germany" from 1933 to 1945 . Figuratively speaking, Nazism is a rather sharp cocktail, which make up its elements - extreme nationalism, totalitarianism, racism, fascism, anti-Semitism and socialism - in their totality are extremely explosive. However, in the first half of the last century, the "fragrance" of this drink, despite the harshness and the anxiety and danger emanating from it, spread quite quickly, far and many fell in taste. Why? There are many reasons for this. One of them is the inability to resist the temptation of one's own exclusivity, in this case national. It is peculiar, more or less, to all nations, and sooner or later all nations pass through it, but again with different goals and consequences. Nazi Germany placed the "Aryan race" at the forefront and declared its main goal to build a racially pure state on a fairly large territory.

Practical implementation

The era of praise and exaltation of the "Aryan race" is often called the time of "admiration and terror". An amazing and paradoxical combination, is not it? But it had a place to be. Indeed, indeed, the whole people rapidly, with an unprecedented enthusiasm and excitement of euphoria, rose, united and rushed to first cleanse the German lands from the "strangling" of its aliens, and then expand the living space by expelling and destroying other peoples for the increasing German-speaking population. Raising, rapture and ecstasy were stepping in step with terror and genocide. The end justified any means. But the truth sooner or later expels any truth and untruth: the exaltation leads only to one - a fall. And Germany fell, and the world at the cost of huge sacrifices made another lesson - always and everywhere say "No!" To fascism and Nazism.

Nuremberg

Human society has long learned to bring to justice and pass sentence on individual villains or gangster formations. But 1945-1946 years. Is the time when the whole world for the first time in the history of mankind united and condemned the countless crimes of Nazi Germany. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg was called not to "execute" the Nazis on the spot, but to judge in a civilized manner. Any prompt reprisal over the defeated enemy does not lead to an awareness of the evil committed on either side. It only quenches the thirst for revenge. Therefore, during the Nuremberg trial, all the documentary evidence of the crimes was collected, possible witnesses were interviewed, and procedural guarantees gave the seated right of the lawyer and explanations to those sitting in the dock. The result of such a unique and large-scale event - the real Court of Nations - was a real, deep understanding of the tragedy that had taken place. The main culprits were punished, and the peoples of the world unanimously declared the unconditional non-acceptance of Nazism and condemnation of all violence against man and the state. A public demonstration of Nazi attributes and symbols, the spread of organizations and movements professing national-socialist slogans - all this is legislatively prohibited in Europe and Latin America. But…

Growing contradictions

But apparently, the memory of humanity is too short, better to say, not short, but unreliable, ready to yield to persuasion and change itself under the influence of other ideas. So, the Nuremberg process is over, the friendly relations between the allies are outwardly preserved: the USSR, the USA and Great Britain. But it was only externally. In practice, it was quite different: the winner can only be one, and the contradictions within the anti-Hitler coalition grew. The USSR rightfully claimed the primacy because it really was both the main winner of fascism and the main victim of it, and hence more "privileges" and powers in resolving questions about the post-war "outline of a new world." Stalin sought territorial expansion of the USSR and had claims to increase communist influence in Eastern Europe. Well, quite logical and reasonable, but ...

Fulton speech

But the leaders of the United Kingdom and the United States treated these trends, to put it mildly, with great discontent. Churchill, as a great politician, correctly assessed the situation and made a competent decision. Britain, considered to be the main European power before the war, was no longer such. Western Europe was devastated. Eastern Europe was under communist influence. Therefore, the main stake was made in the USA. They suffered the least from the war, were the only possessor of atomic weapons and, most importantly, were part of the "Anglo-Saxon" world. Churchill's Fulton speech outlined the contours of the new world order: henceforth the United States is the pinnacle of world power, since only American democracy and the "fraternal association of English-speaking peoples" can withstand war and tyranny, of which the face is the USSR. The iron curtain was lowered.

Race theory

In fact, Mr. Churchill put the "Anglo-Saxon race" above all. It turns out that the basis for unleashing the Second World War was the theory of racial superiority of the "Aryans", and in the so-called Cold War - a kind of "racial mission" of the Anglo-Saxon peoples. And if so, then "Nazism" lived, lives and will live, and the Nuremberg trial, the condemnation of Nazism, fascism, all kinds of intolerance and the prohibition of propaganda of these ideas at the legislative level is just a farce. In other words, the heroization of Nazism already then made its first trial steps, since it is impossible to "stigmatize" what you do yourself ...

The heroism of Nazism is ...

After the end of the war, during the first ten years a new trend arises - neo-Nazism, literally reading - a new Nazism. But, as they say, everything new is a well-forgotten old, and the new doctrine consists of all the same elements of chauvinism, fascism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia and anti-Semitism. As in leaps and bounds, from the 1960s to the present, throughout the world, and this is not an exaggeration, neo-Nazi political parties and social movements are growing and multiplying, which either profess the National Socialist views or ideas that are close to them, or declare themselves direct Followers of the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany. In addition to ideas, they actively use the symbols, appeals and slogans of the Third Reich.

Under these conditions, other forces are intensifying, striving not only to "reassess" the results of the Second World War, but also completely distort the history. Written "strange" books are being written, "racial pseudo-theories" are being popularized, a lot of feature films and television programs appear that interpret the story in their own way: the leaders of the Third Reich are becoming real heroes, the Holocaust is denied, and the Nuremberg trial acquires the features of a "fabricated case". The question arises: are the laws working? Yes and no. On the one hand, in any legislation there are "loopholes" that allow to circumvent this or that law. And on the other - such a massive "heroization of Nazism" says not only about the imperfection of legislation and social order, but also about another, more dangerous reason - it is someone very, very much needed. For what? First of all, as an effective tool of manipulation. Seeds of national superiority, especially if they are regularly watered, always give a good harvest, which again can be used immediately, and can be preserved until the "best" times. And since this is not just a common man, the struggle against the heroization of Nazism at the level of laws is unequivocally necessary, but it can not give any tangible results.

Heroism of Nazism: UN

But, no matter what, continue to "scream" about this problem. Every year we hear the same words from the mass media: "heroization of Nazism", "resolution", "UN". Yes, indeed, the General Assembly of the United Nations - it's still not perfect, but the only platform on which constructive discussion of problems is possible, because in any case, unification is the solution of all issues. November 21, 2014 The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly once again adopted a resolution on the adoption of effective measures in the fight against the heroism of Nazism.

In this document, submitted by Russia, it is said that the heroization of Nazism is, first of all, the spread in many countries of the world of extremist political parties and associations, including non-nationalist organizations and groups of so-called "skinheads". The rehabilitation of the Nazi movement, the glorification of accomplices of the fascists, former members of the German organization Waffen SS, and the construction of monuments and memorials belong to the same trend. All of the above causes extreme anxiety and concern and calls for tougher resistance to the revival of the Nazi ideology in accordance with international acts in the field of human rights protection.

"For" voted 115 states, "against" - three: the United States, Canada and Ukraine, which is not surprising and quite predictable ...
