Dzhungar hamster - one of the representatives of the genus of horned hamsters. These small animals are often mistakenly called a dwarfish breed, in fact, their dimensions are extremely small (up to ten centimeters in length and forty-five grams of weight), but these parameters do not depart from the norm. Dzhungariki in the home environment take root almost immediately. As a rule, caring parents acquire hamsters specially for their children, so that the heirs should be interested in watching animals, feeding them and playing.

The breed of Dzhungar hamsters was bred in Western Siberia. Also this species is found in the nature of Kazakhstan, in deserts and semi-deserts. Dzhungariki at home now feel even more comfortable than in the wild. These animals are rather reluctant to get used to the hands of man. They are constantly on the move. If you put a wheel in an animal cage, be aware that this carousel will never stop. Hamsters of jungariki, care of which is simple, but unpleasant, very mobile and nervous. Often the sharp teeth of these guys bite the palms of the person and the wire of the cage.

Dzungariki at home perfectly develop and multiply. A female hamster can have offspring from a month or two from its birth. It is not necessary to plant two animals of the same sex in a single cage, this can lead to conflict and fights between males or females, in which only the strongest survive. It should be more attentive and at the birth of offspring. Often there are cases when the mother ate the newly born babies. Dzungariki care requires a simple one, cleaning the cage several times a week, changing the water regularly in the drinking bowl and adding food to the feeder as needed.

Dzhungariki at home for the first time behave hyperactively. Do not limit the freedom of the baby, let him explore his new home, mark the corners and equip the sleeper. If you did not know, hamsters are very clean animals. The females cope with the need exclusively in the place allocated for this and quickly get used to it. Also jungariki very much like different attractions. Buy a large and multifunctional "apartment" for your pet, in which there will be tunnels, a wheel, a sleeping place under a roof, a feeder and a drinker. Prepare for the fact that for the comfortable conditions of your baby you overpay a minimum of 5 times more than the cost of the jungarik itself.

These animals are very picky in food and are sensitive to weather conditions, so take a closer look at the state of the hamster's well-being, do not let the pet sneeze, itch and sleep much. Otherwise, call a veterinarian who will help you check the condition of the jungle. These animals do not live long (maximum 3 years) and often die because of any illnesses, so do not forget about it, keep an order in his house and feed the proper food.
