First, it is necessary to determine the place for planting and to do its preparation. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the asparagus bean, which is to be grown in late May or early June, is a heat-loving crop, and for planting it should be taken away in an unseen, sunny place. Before you can grow asparagus, you need to prepare the soil. It should be light, fertile, neutral or slightly acidic. In the ground make humus, compost, as well as potash fertilizers.

The seeds are planted directly into the open ground, observing the distance between the future plants of 10 cm, the depth should be 4 cm. If large quantities of asparagus bean are required, the cultivation is done in rows, the gap between which should be at least half a meter. To avoid the effects of frost, for the first time the range should be covered with geotextile or other insulation.

During growth, the plant will need fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, one of which must be carried out during the budding period. Mineral composition must be introduced into small grooves, done at a distance of 10 centimeters from the rows with plants, after which you should fall asleep.

In itself, the culture is resistant to heat and drought; however, when there is a shortage of moisture, the plant slows down its development, the fruits are deformed and small, so shoots require abundant watering. For the convenience of climbing stalks of asparagus beans, it is not superfluous to install pylons from pegs or rails 2 meters high, for which it will cling.

Dishes from bean pods allow the body to remove excess fluid, which helps with swelling. Bean beans contain acids that stimulate the formation of blood cells, which is a good remedy for anemia. Beans are an excellent diuretic, its broth is useful for inflammation of the kidneys, rheumatism, diabetes.

In addition to the current cooking, the asparagus beans can be preserved, salted and marinated. From the blanks in the winter make delicious soups, casseroles, snacks and other dishes.

Coloring the bean pods is quite diverse, usually green, light green, lemon-yellow. Pods of purple color during cooking are bright green and become very attractive in soups. Beans also come in a variety of colors: white, brown, cream, black and even speckled.

For cultivation on the plot of land, such yielding varieties as "Deer King", "Fana", "Panther", "Indina", "Golden Nectar", "Akito" and others will perfectly suit them.
