If there are no problems when working with other browsers, there may be an error when connecting Chrome to the Internet.

• Another reason for problems with Chrome is the wrong proxy settings. They need to be changed in the browser menu. Find the "Network" section and click the "Change proxy settings" button. A pop-up window will appear where you need to select the "Proxy Server" item in the left column and set the automatic mode for the proxy.

A popular browser does not necessarily open up at all, it can just be very slow to work, or, as it is customary for computer scientists, to "slow down". What to do in this case? The speed can be affected by the installed extensions. To check, open the page in the "incognito" mode, in which all plug-ins are turned off. To do this, click on the bookmark pages with the right mouse button and in the menu that appears, select the option "Open in incognito mode." If in this mode the download speed is higher, then the reason is in one of the extensions that you need to disable.

This is done through the task manager, which is opened by simultaneously pressing the keys Shift and Esc. Here you can see all the processes running on the computer. Extensions need to be selected and closed, and then check the speed of the browser. After you find a plug-in that slows down the work, you need to disable it. To do this, open the "Tools" section in the menu and go to "Extensions". Here you need to tick off the unwanted plugins.
