Genres of officially business style and their diversity

Officially, business style is the language of business documents. We all know what a sea of business papers exists today. This diversity determines the moment that the genres of officially business-style speech are virtually indestructible. But we can still reveal their general laws, and we will try to do this in this article.

The main features of officially business style are as follows. It is fixed as a language of service to the social and legal sphere and is used in lawmaking, the economic sphere, administration of administrative affairs and in international diplomatic activity. In short, this is the language of documents that govern the actions of people and have great legal significance. Therefore, their content should have a common interpretation and not mislead people.

List all the genres of officially business style, as we said earlier, it is very difficult, but you can call the main ones. These include: a contract, a statement, an order, a decree, a power of attorney, an announcement, a certificate, legislative acts, documents of various scale and significance, etc. All of them are characterized by an emphatic logical presentation, lack of emotionality, officiality, and abound with standardized phrases and language clichés, compiled using Old Slavonic phrases and archaic vocabulary. All genres of officially business style of speech, except for the information part, have a certain form of filling in business paper. This form carries the name of the props and is stipulated by GOST. That is, none of the documents that are of national importance, can not be issued in a free order. Each of them has a standard form, to which it is strictly obeyed.

Requisites that have genres of officially business style are fixed strictly in a certain part of a sheet of paper or on a completed form. The name of the document, the date of its creation, the registration number (incoming or outgoing), as well as all the necessary information about the person who compiled this document, has a permanent location. And it looks something like this: name, date and number - at the top, and personal information - at the bottom of the document, and after the signature responsible for the compilation of the text.

Today, genres of officially business style are thought out as much as possible and there are special sets of requisites that are printed on ready-made standard forms, which are recommended for use in the compilation of one or another business paper. These include: the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, the emblem of the organization, the image of various government awards, the digital codes of institutions, the names of ministries and enterprises, and structural divisions. Required requisites include postal requisites: index, telegraph address, phone numbers, teletypes, faxes and bank accounts. Some genres of officially business style are supplied with a restriction of access.

The main features of officially business style can be most vividly demonstrated on one of the most popular types of business papers - a contract. It fixes legal relations arising between legal entities and individuals and is filled in when concluding any transactions. Terms of the contract are divided into paragraphs and subparagraphs, which prescribe the nature, conditions, terms of the transaction, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties. There must be at least seven such modules in each contract, drawn up correctly. This: the representation of the parties involved in the transaction, the definition of the subject of the contract, the obligation of the parties, their responsibility, the conditions under which settlement and terms of the contract will be made, as well as postal, legal and payment requisites.

Any other business paper is also filled in according to strictly enforced regulations.
