French striker Saha Louis

Saa Lui is a former French footballer, who has gained worldwide fame in the English "Manchester United". Now he is already 38 years old, and he has long completed his professional career. Saa Lu played at the position of the central striker.

Carier start

Saa Louis was born on August 8, 1978 in France to a family of immigrants from Guadeloupe. At the age of 12 he entered the sports academy of Soissi-Andiji-Marzhansi, from which he moved to Clerfontaine three years later. But there he stayed only for two years, and in 1995 he was in the academy of the club "Metz", with whom he signed a contract when he was eighteen years old. Only in 1997 the player managed to make his debut for the club, and he spent 26 matches, scoring just one goal. The first half of the second season was also not the most successful, so in winter 1999, the striker was loaned to English "Newcastle", for which he played 12 matches and scored two goals. When Saa returned to the "Mets", he got a place in the base and scored 12 goals in 35 games. And in 2000, Saha Louis moved to English Fulham, who noticed a young talent during the lease at Newcastle, for three million euros.

Playing at the club level

Saa Louis is a French footballer who spent almost his entire career in England. It all began with a lease at Newcastle, and then continued with the transfer to Fulham. There, the young talent began to develop rapidly and for three and a half years, spent in the club, played in 142 games and scored 63 goals. In the winter of 2004, the Frenchman was invited to one of the strongest clubs in the country, Manchester United. They simply do not refuse such an offer. Fulham received an impressive compensation of 17.5 million euros, and Saa played at a qualitatively new level. In "Manchester" he spent four and a half years, during this time playing in 124 games and scoring 42 goals. It was there where fame came to him - and there his star went out. As a result, in the summer of 2008, the contract was not extended with the Frenchman, and he went to Everton. There the striker spent three and a half years, going on the field 115 times and scoring 35 goals. When his contract expired in the winter of 2012, the 33-year-old striker signed a short-term agreement with Tottenham, where he scored four goals in 12 games in six months. Season 12/13 was the last for the attacker - the first half he spent in Sunderland, and the second - in the Italian Lazio, but neither in any other club could not score any more goals,

National team appearances

In the French national team, Saa made his debut in February 2004, just after the transfer to Manchester United. In the opening match against the Belgian national team, he immediately scored a goal, but only played a career for only 20 matches, celebrating with four goals.
