"Four tankmen and a dog": actors and roles. Polish television series

Who in his childhood did not dream of being a handsome tankman Janek? Who did not admire the strength of the hero Gusliq Pechka? Well, finally, who has not heard about such characters as the dog Sharik and the tank nicknamed "Redhead"? Yes, yes, we are talking about the famous Polish TV series "Four Tankmen and a Dog" (the actors here are so vivid that they have already become popular favorites).

Successful screen version of a successful book

Back in 1967, the book of the famous Polish writer, poet and publicist Janusz Pshimanovsky "Four Tankmen" was published (three years later the book was published and was already published under the familiar name "Four Tankmen and a Dog"), which began to enjoy such success, That on it they removed the eponymous television series. Running ahead, we note that the writer played in the film of the photographer (episodic role in the last fragment). The series, even though it's about the war, turned out to be very kind and naive naive, from which it's blowing something home-like ...

In the center of the plot is the fate of the tank crew, nicknamed "Red": Olgerd Yarosh, Jan Kos, Gustav Jelen, Grigory Saakashvili, Tomas Cheresnyak and all the beloved dog Sharik (his breed is a German shepherd). Together they sometimes fall into difficult, and sometimes comical situations and successfully cope with any difficulties and adversities.

The inverse image

Despite the fact that the heroes of our favorite series are collective images, one of the characters has a prototype. The prototype of Olgerd Yarosh was Viktor Tyufyakov, a native of Altai. He graduated from the tank school of the city of Poltava. As a member of the brigade, he was first commander of a tank company, and having distinguished himself in battle for Studzianka, he was already a battalion commander. However, despite his services, Victor for his love of justice and straightforward character was deprived of all awards and titles.

But the "nationality" has done its work. After watching the television series "Four Tankmen and a Dog" (the actors played their roles so well that many saw themselves or their acquaintances in these images), meetings of tanker veterans began to be held in Poland. With the help of archives, Polish fellow soldiers found their battalion commander. Poland met him as a hero, and when it was discovered at home that the brave commander Olgerd was Viktor Tyufyakov, he received awards and titles.

Olgerd Jarosz

However, it's time to return to the crew of the "Red" tank. And we will start, perhaps, with the first commander of the resilient five (a German shepherd named Sharyk - also a full member of the tank crew). The role of the brave officer Olgerd Yarosh was played by Roman Wilhelmi (a graduate of the Warsaw Theater Academy, he worked on the stage for almost 30 years, and also successfully performed in such films as The Night Butterfly and Career of Nicodemus Dzymy).

Olgerd by nationality - a Pole, in the pre-war period was a meteorologist. In the tank brigade was recruited as an instructor, but was soon appointed commander of the crew "Red." He was killed in 1945 near Gdansk.

Jan Kos

Pole handsome Yanek did not see his father since 1939, since the time of the defense of Vasterplatte. Attracted by the search for his father, he finds himself in Siberia. There he lived with the hunter Yefim Semenovich. When he learned of the recruitment into the military Polish units, he decided to run away with his dog Sharik to the front. Having been refused because of his youth, he did not despair. Demonstrating his accuracy in the shooting, and then finding together with Sharik among hundreds of foreign cartridge cases, he was still enlisted.

A young, merry, matured in the war and in love with the Russian nurse Marusya (for the bright color of her hair gave her a gentle nickname Ogonyok) the guy was played by the Polish actor of the theater and cinema Janusz Gayos. He actively acts in films and plays in the theater to this day. Also, the actor was awarded numerous awards. But after all, once, after success in the role of a brave tankman, Janusz Gayos did not act for 10 whole years.

Gustav Elena

And here is another, never depressed Pole brave fours of tankmen - Gustav Elena, and for friends just Gustlik. Before the war he worked as a factory blacksmith. Wehrmacht was drafted into tank troops and sent to the Eastern Front, however, having seized the tank, he transferred to the side of the Red Army. Becoming a member of the already Polish crew, at first was charging, and then - a gunner. Due to the fact that after the death of Olgerd was the oldest member of the crew by age, Gustlik, perhaps, is the most sensible of the whole company. Sometimes he even restrained his friends, so that they would not commit reprisals against the captured Germans - they should not be like the enemy. As a result, his new acquaintance Ober-corporal Kugel, under the patronage of Gustav himself, becomes the deputy commandant of the city of Ritzen and is accepted for his restoration. In the course of the action Gustav Elena falls in love with her countrywoman (by the way, Gustlik has relatives of the Germans), which our crew rescues from fascist captivity.

He played the role of a very bright character from the television series "Four Tankmen and a Dog" František Pechka, who graduated from the Higher Theater School in Warsaw. Behind his shoulders are numerous productions in the theater and more than one hundred films. He even was lucky enough to play in the movies of the apostle Peter himself. František Pechka was awarded honorary awards in different years.

Grigory Saakashvili

The only non-Polish fellow in the crew is called Gzhes (in the Polish manner, diminutive from Grzegoros). He is Georgian by nationality, and his profession is a mechanical driver. Polish residents, he says that he was born in Sandomierz - just tired of explaining everything where Georgia is. Like all Caucasians, he is distinguished by his temperamental character. He also knows how to drive a tank, like very few, and although all the members of the combat crew have become associated with their steel car, the soul in the "Red" he does not like the most. Toward the end of the film, his fate comes down to the radio operator Lidka.

But this hot and charming Georgian was played by a Polish film and theater actor - Wlodzimierz Press. Currently resides in Warsaw. He works actively in enterprises, dubbing films. And also Wlodzimierz Press works on the radio.

Tomas Chereshnyak

Over time, when Janek became the commander of the crew, Tomash Chereshnyak, a hard-working and economic son of a peasant, took his place as a radio operator, or, as his comrades called Tomek. Despite the seeming simplicity, he will show himself in the best way.

Remarkably playing the accordion character from the movie "Four Tankmen and a Dog" (actors embodying the main characters, added to their list in the course of the action) was also shown on the screen by the Polish actor of theater, film, radio and television Wieslaw Golas. Having played in an impressive number of paintings, he was awarded many awards.

"Redhead" and our dog ...

And, of course, Sharik! A very clever German shepherd and a full member of the crew of the "Red" tank. Yanek brought him from Siberia, where Sharik became his real friend. The dog has not once saved the crew, delivering reports on time. The four-headed actor was so fond of viewers that fans at meetings with artists constantly asked him to leave fingerprints in the photos and for this purpose even made a special pillow with ink. However, obediently reincarnating on the set, the dog after fifty such "autographs" began to look at his coach with concern and some displeasure, so that more than fifty "paws" a day did not work.

"Three Poles, Georgians and a Dog"

Despite the friendship in the series "Four Tankmen and a Dog", the actors rarely met after filming, each went his own way. But this will not prevent us from returning to their heroes again and again, for in this light (despite the entourage of the war) stories of four Polish tankmen and their faithful friend to Sharik have grown more than one generation. This picture has confidently taken a secluded place in the hearts of many movie lovers. And nothing will prevent tomorrow, and maybe even today, sit down and reconsider this slightly naive and simple film about friendship, mutual assistance and love.
