In translation from the Latin word "romana" ("chamomile") means "Roman". In ancient medical books the daisy is called the "Roman flower". In the forest, in meadows and fields you can meet a field camomile, and her sister garden - in the gardens and in the country. Care of this flower is a constant watering, weeding, thinning and loosening of the soil. Every five years it needs to be rejuvenated so that the plant does not die. For this, it is necessary to separate a part of the bush and plant it in another place. Formed emptiness must be filled with fertile soil. After three years, this process must be repeated. Garden camomiles well tolerate winter in the middle belt in the open ground, but if the winter is very cold and the flowers are not covered, they will die. Before the onset of winter, it is necessary to cut the ground part of the daisy to the very top of the leaf, thereby protecting it from the cold.
