Three years ago

This happened in 2012 in the Kuban. July 4th, there was a lot of rains everywhere. One of the causes of the disaster was named a very bad storm sewerage in the streets or in general its absence. Then in the Krasnodar Territory 171 people died, more than 34 thousand people suffered. Whatever it was, the scale of this disaster was such that on July 9, 2012, mourning was announced throughout the country. The celebration of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, accounted for this number, was canceled.

Again the trouble

In the regional center on the evening of June 23, 2015, lightning rains began. They walked several hours in a row, Krasnodar did not expect anything very bad. Is there not a lot of showers? Without light

But it turned out badly that flooding in Krasnodar was flooded with an electrical substation (it is located on Topolina). Many houses were without electricity: on the street. Experts, however, given the dramatic nature of the circumstances, worked tirelessly. And they promised to light up the streets and apartment buildings in two or three hours.

Everybody had a hard time. The flood in Krasnodar is a natural disaster. And it spares neither old nor small. The stormy front and heavy precipitation on June 23 and 24 brought a lot of trouble to the residents in Absheron, Otradnoye, Labinsky and Mostovsky districts. But only later it turned out that the flood in Krasnodar was the largest of all that was in the settlements of the Kuban.

And in the regional center in the most critical position was the Moscow street. Even earlier, on June 17, there was already a flood, when in less than an hour it all went under the water. You could walk down the street only by taking off your shoes and rolling up your trousers above your knees.

And those drivers who realized quickly to drive their cars from the street into the yards, now unable to leave them.

Local residents claimed that at that time, during the most difficult moment of the flood, no water-pumping equipment came to them. This special transport arrived only on June 18 in the afternoon. But until the end of the moisture and did not disappear.

It only got worse

And who would have thought then that the threat of flooding in Krasnodar has not been eliminated?

Exactly a week later, after torrential rains, which were on 23-24 numbers, the situation in Moscow became even more aggravated. On the wet soil, another huge mass of water poured out. We began to pump it out - the pumps broke down. True, the workers were able to repair them promptly.

All this worried the city authorities. It is no accident that the repeated flooding in Krasnodar on Moscow forced them to find money (they decided to take them out of reserve ones) and put them into the construction of a new pumping station. She, as assured in the city administration, must earn a month.

The fact is that one such enterprise already exists in Gomel. This pump is 360 cc. M / hour. However, they plan to install a more powerful (for 800 cubic meters) camera to receive water and build a new pipeline in the same microdistrict. All this, according to experts, will take 2-3 weeks. And synchronous operation of both stations (old and newly built) will eliminate flooding in this place much quicker.

Reasons and measures of salvation

Moscow street - generally long-suffering. After literally every rain, it turns into the sea. Why? This question Krasnodar journalists asked the city leaders. It turns out that this problem was solved in 2014. Then, at the corner of Moscow and Gomel, a pumping station was installed. But it was worth breaking out on a strong downpour on June 17, 2015, and the street "swam again". And with even more flow, which happened on June 23-24, the station itself, together with the storm drainage system, and the pipe itself, failed at all.

Yes, in the city, caught in captivity of the elements, the authorities temporarily changed bus routes. They moved where else it was possible to pass. In an emergency, other measures were taken.

But if from time to time there is a possibility of flooding in Krasnodar, then why do you have to wait for many years in inactivity to wait for him to arrive, without undertaking anything in advance? Apparently, they live according to the proverb: "Until the thunder strikes, the peasant does not cross himself."
