Location

Please note that in this article we give information only about the Elpida Village 3 * hotel, located in Crete, in the village of Istro, near the village of Kalo Horio (in Greek, "calo horyo" means "good village"). From here, the famous Cretan town of Agios Nikolaos is 8 km away. Previously, the hotel in question was called Elpida Apartments, which can still be found on some maps and in brochures. This causes confusion and misunderstandings, since with the same name in Crete there is another hotel, located near Heraklion, in the village of Gouves. From the considered Elpida Village 3 * it is about 60 km to the west. Another difference is that Gouves lies just on the coast of the Cretan Sea, and the village of Istro is on the shore of his miraculous Mirabello Bay, in the Lassithi Valley. Near the hotel there is a road, along which there are many cafes, taverns and shops, and around it stretch vineyards, oranges, olive groves and mountains.

How to get there?

The international airport, closest to Elpida Village 3 *, is located in Heraklion. He is called Nikos Kazantzakis. Here tourists are met by representatives of travel agencies, escorted to comfortable transfers, which bring them to their places. The length of the road is 65 km, but since the terrain on Crete is mountainous and there are few direct roads, you can reach the hotel only in 40 minutes. With stops, the path can stretch for more than 2 hours. Tourists traveling around the travel agencies from the airport can take a bus to the bus station A, which is near the port, and then take a bus to Agios Nikolaos. Another option is to take a taxi from the airport.

Elpida Village 3 * (Crete) is a separate two-story and three-story cottages surrounded by a wonderful garden. Here, not only olives and oranges grow, but also figs, magnolias, pines, eucalyptus, buggenvilias and dozens of other evergreen evergreen plants. As the hotel is on a hill, its territory is made of terraces, connecting stairs. The ascent leads from the road to the main building. The territory itself is compact enough, but here there is where to walk, sit, relax. The tourists are offered free parking, swimming pools, a bar, a summer cinema, a children's playground.

The refrigerator is not in every room, which must be discussed at the reception. Bathroom is not very large, but functional. There is a toilet, a washbasin, and the shower is located, as it were, in a small niche with a curtain or without. Hygienic products are provided with toilet paper and soap. Hair dryer should be taken from the reception staff.
• Improved. This room is equipped with a kitchen area with a stove, a toaster, an electric kettle and a set of dishes. The room also has a sitting area with a soft corner.
• One-Bedroom Apartment. The room is very spacious. There are beds, soft sofas, on which you can also sleep, chairs, all the necessary furniture for rest. These rooms also have a kitchenette with electrical appliances and appliances. The bathroom is spacious enough, it is equipped except for a toilet and a wash basin of a bathroom or a shower with a shower booth.
