Elena Denisova: childhood

The actress was born in Yekaterinburg, which was then called Sverdlovsk. There was a joyful event in April 1960. The father, who worked as a civil engineer, was forced to constantly transport the family from place to place. Elena Denisova spent most of her childhood in Alma-Ata, it is with this city that she has the most pleasant memories. The girl was already a teenager when her parents settled in Moscow.

Studying at school, Lena received good grades in almost all subjects. The greatest interest for her was represented by chemistry and biology. Not surprisingly, the parents were convinced that the daughter would become a student of the Moscow State University biofaculty. They were amazed to learn that Elena Denisova had already entered the GITIS.

Student years

Elena did not intend to enter the theater college in secret from her family, her mother and father had a trusting relationship. To pass exams the future star went for the company with a friend. She suddenly won the admission committee, reciting the poem of Vladimir Soloukhin. Impressions from the first acquaintance with the theater world of the student were negative - she was shocked by anger, which was unabashedly demonstrated by "colleagues."

Elena Denisova was on the set for the first time, while still studying at GITIS. The debut of the beginning actress took place in 1979 thanks to the series "The meeting place can not be changed", in which she got a small role. Elena appeared only in the first series, playing a girl sitting on a bench with a fan. Of course, a tiny episode did not make viewers and critics pay attention to Denisov.

Starring role

The director of the film "Look for a woman" initially did not plan to entrust the role of the typewriter Virginia to an unknown actress, who in 1982 remained Elena Denisova. The filmography of yesterday's student could not get this picture, if not for the case. The woman, approved for the role, fell seriously ill, it happened just before the shooting. Then the director approved Denisov, not wanting to slow down the shooting process.

Elena, as follows from her interview, believes that she and Virginia are in many respects similar. For example, an actress also loves extravagant make-up in her life, which is imposed by her heroine in the film "Look for a woman". Even Denisova's wardrobe came in handy when creating the image of a relaxed typist working for Maître Roche. It was assumed that Virginia would become a secondary heroine, but it was the extravagant secretary who fell in love with the audience. The harsh phrases pronounced by the character quickly acquired the status of aphorisms.

It is interesting that Denisova Elena Timofeevna perfectly remembers what she spent her first "serious" fee. These were elegant wooden supports for hotter, brought from India. They liked the rising star so much that it acquired them in huge numbers.

Elena Denisova is an actress who was not given the opportunity to realize her talent. The cinematographic authorities considered that the girl lacked "Soviet charm", that the image of Virginia turned out to be unduly uninhibited. She was forbidden to offer serious roles. Nevertheless, Denisova managed to appear in several other films. These are such tapes as "Forgive Me, Alyosha", "Dance Floor", "Five Minutes of Fear".

Four years after the release of the film "Look for a woman" Elena decided to leave the acting profession in the past. After believing in God, the former actress made cardinal changes in her own way of life. She concentrated on helping people who became victims of alcohol and drugs. At the moment "Virginia" is an active participant in the "12 Steps" program, it organizes charity meals for poor people of the Russian Federation. Also, the former actress composes poems on biblical themes, which then recites on the radio.

Personal life

Elena Denisova, whose photo can be seen in this article, married twice. The first one elected was Igor Denisov. With this young man she studied together at GITIS. In marriage, the son Timothy was born, but soon after that the couple parted by mutual agreement, deciding that they were hurrying with the marriage.

With the second spouse, who became the famous playwright Edward Radzinsky, Elena still lives. She is absolutely not confused by the age difference, which is 24 years. It is known that Edward approvingly refers to the charitable activities of his wife, as far as possible sponsors her charitable projects. It is known that Denisov prefers to solve all domestic issues independently, however, at a difficult moment the spouses always support each other.
